Hint, something in this demos shot is different from all other demo shots. If you can figure it out ill give you a cookie.
I shoved TGWall into a city for A: fail gold??? and B: i expect alot of invasions to happen sometime in about 20t. 100% on top of IMP's 100% GG production.... might as well.
Been several turns and still only TBW and us have Currency. Interesting. As for major techs, we are down Metal Casting, IW, and calendar. ( aesthetics i dont count as major ) We are UP, Currency, and HBR. Stay tuned over the next 20t and see how this screen looks
"Superdeath seems to have acquired a rep for aggression somehow. In this game that's going to help us because he's going to go to the negotiating table with twitchy eyes and slightly too wide a grin and terrify the neighbors into favorable border agreements, one-sided tech deals and staggered NAPs."

Killing it in the demos. Wish the MFG was a bit higher, but we are trying to grow our cities for the extra happy that we are about to get. Full Speed to metal casting soon!!!
What are the chances that Raskol builds the great wall while he is at it with EVERY other wonder built? id put it at greater than 50% chances.
Although i guess the failgold wouldnt be too bad...
Going to be down ( in 2ish turns ) Only Aesthetics and Metal casting ( not counting the itty-bitty religious techs ) Tech situation should explode pretty soon as the next trade deals will be available.
Old fart Harry How does this tech path look to you:
Calendar-Iron Working is rather obvious, but then workshops from metal casting/forges for increased happy due to gold. Then we pick up construction for good ol' catapult defense. Followed by probably a run to machinery in time to trade with Cairo/maybe raskol for monarchy/fued.
Diplo wise, still trying to break up the Gavagai/Rome alliance while not spooking raskol/cairo too much. Honestly im probably just fishing for a long term NAP with Rome once i get my techs on the way to knights. Gavagai wont be close enough to hopefully even longbows... but im sure we can punch a hole...

I knew the spear was in that area... but figured it had died by now. Or moved.... and.... rip scout. UNLESS Poverty point pops borders? That would be an epic save..
Power looks rather close...
Tempted to whip the markets, but we got good tiles to work in basically all the cities...
Graphs-
Raskol doing gnp crap.. hopefully mostly culture.
Crop looking close between everyone other than cairo for some reason.
Leading in production, but not by as much as id like.
LOOK WHO IS CATCHING UP IN POWER.
Should we be worried about Gav running units into us? Would just tank both of our games... Still hasnt responded to PM's...

Raskol trades Metal casting to each of us t100. We tech Machinery. Cairo techs to Fued ( with Raskol also teching Monarchy and trading that to both ) And then we all swap techs that we dont have..
So, we are currently saving gold on the Monarchy pre-req's.
Overall? So long as Gavagai doesnt break the t130 NAP that we agreed to..... ( which would make me want to just flat out stop playing this PB ) I like our long term.

Most certainly is. Well.... maybe Krill will come back as a smurf account?

Turned on tech to finish meditation, and hopefully most/all of priesthood so that i can save gold on... idk, Aesthetics? Then t100 i get Metal casting and i can begin to tech machinery for our big tech trades.
Forges in all the big cities for the extra happy + production will be nice. Workshops for our food RICH cities.. Yeah. I like the way this is going.
t130 NAP with Gavagai, and i doubt Rome wants to attack at t110 when our NAP expires.. so all these unit builds will be swapped to either Forges, Wealth, or Research. I think.
Any questions?

Depending on what Sir Old Harry has to say, i might run a turn of full wealth builds next turn to prep for Machinery research...
This screen makes me happy.

TBW got Construction. So that leaves Metal casting ( which we will get next turn ), Construction and Aesthetics as the only techs we do not have. ( and poly... ) Meanwhile its looking like Metal casting-currency-Calendar is what the other alliance will be trading.. Kinda funny. Doesnt let them trade any BIG techs, so this should be where my alliance starts to REALLY pull away from the "lul i picked aggressive picks/am Gavagai"
