I put the Hanging Gardens on the back burner and started planning for the Oracle. Obviously I do want to finish math first for the extra chop hammers and because I want to bulb Currency with the Oracle. With that in mind:
T86 Commiting for the Oracle plan
T87 Mathematics finished
T88 Full commitment aka put chops into it.
T90 The Oracle is finished.
Now this is very late for the Oracle and I'm not surprised to see anybody else finish it before me. The only question is if I should try for any other wonder. I only see the following options:
Pyramids: Still a lot of hammers, but I do have stone. Running Representation would be nice.
The Hanging Gardens: By the time I can finish it I will definitely have 8 cities, maybe even 9.
Well for now nothing is decided.

Well pindicator built the Oracle. So much for that plan, but good to know in advance.
EDIT: Looks like pindicator built it.

T78 - T80:
The economic recovery is in full progress and I will settle my next city next turn. But meanwhile two interesting things have happened.
- Mjmd is still protecting all his workers on the border with 2 spears. Does he know that I can't attack him during the peace treaty?
- AT showed up with a Holkan on the tile where my scout is now N of rose. At first I thought oh my god he will attack my chariots and my new city. But then I remembered that we still have 3 turns of the peace treaty we signed from the scout killing. Hehe serves you right.

Also the reason why my other chariot is standing damaged in the jungle is, because he just killed a barb warrior there. No reason to gift more XP to ATs Holkans. The chariot now has 4 XP, just one more and I have a sentry unit. Come here little barbarians.

Say hello to my newest addition: GoldsmithSkags. This will be a lovely production city and good defense spot towards AT and mediocre defensive spot towards Jowy. Now I won't settle black dot any time soon as it's way to exposed towards Jowy being on flatland. It also does not claim any new resources which BerserkHalfling didn't already claim with its third border pop. This will also leave my border towards Jowy less tense as he can't settle any closer to me right now. There is of course the option for Jowy to settle 1SW or 1S of the corn, but then his city would be on flatland.

One thing that is and was always bothering me since PB40 is that I never got the maintenance calculations right in my spreadsheet. Now my distance calculation is now pretty much correct, but I recently noticed that my civic upkeep calculation is wrong. I initially took the formulas from this post: CivicUpkeep. But even with that formula something was wrong. So off to the source code it is.
Now the initial formulas of the post are pretty much accurate:
Government civics upkeep:
[D * [ O * ( [ P * (N-8) ] + [ C * (M-1) ] ) ] ]
Legal civics upkeep:
[D * [ O * ( [ P * (N-9) ] + [ C * M ] ) ] ]
Labor civics upkeep:
[D * [ O * ( [ P * (N-10) ] + [ C * (M+1) ] ) ] ]
Economy civics upkeep:
[D * [ O * ( [ P * (N-11) ] + [ C * (M+2) ] ) ] ]
Religion civics upkeep:
[D * [ O * ( [ P * (N-12) ] + [ C * (M+3) ] ) ] ]
But I found one crucial part in the code that was missing. Now this could be due to version difference. I found that in the [ C * M ] parts of the formula they also subtract the amount of civic categories (5) and also half this value. With my new knowledge the formulas are not correct. If we call the amount of Civic categories A, we have those formulas, with the new part in bold:
Government civics upkeep:
[D * [ O * ( [ P * (N-8) ] + [ C * (M-1 - [A / 2])] ) ] ]
Legal civics upkeep:
[D * [ O * ( [ P * (N-9) ] + [ C * (M - [A / 2])] ) ] ]
Labor civics upkeep:
[D * [ O * ( [ P * (N-10) ] + [ C * (M+1 - [A / 2]) ] ) ] ]
Economy civics upkeep:
[D * [ O * ( [ P * (N-11) ] + [ C * (M+2 - [A / 2]) ] ) ] ]
Religion civics upkeep:
[D * [ O * ( [ P * (N-12) ] + [ C * (M+3 - [A / 2]) ] ) ] ]
It always amazes what I still find in the code.

I traded my extra pig for Jowys extra fish. Well it's good to have somewhat peaceful relations to my eastern neighbor. But what is this he also has iron. I also took a closer look at his cities and he also has Sailing and Currency. Jowy is clearly running away with this game right now.
Now what is this, Mjmd lost quite a lot of power a few turns ago. That's good, finally his other neighbor takes advantage or the barbs did that.
I also wanted to point out this tiny micromanagement achievment of mine. I managed to chop the forest where my worker stands in the nick of time. As you can see Mjmd and me are already at 50% culture on that tile and I will loose that tile next turn. This has some multiple advantages for me:
- Reduced the best defensive tile next to my city.
- Prevented Mjmd from chopping that forest.
- Chop went into boosted Granary.
- Because of the culture gain my worker may be pushed back to the capitol or other plains hill, which is just were I want him to be.
I should regain those lost tiles in the near future thanks to my Dun in FlyingBarbarian.

It's a bit worrying to see 3 Holkans from AT around my new city of GoldsmithSkag. Luckly I got a very lucky Hinduism spread here, which will take care of culture much quicker then expected. I also positioned my axe on the worker working the corn tile, don't want to get another worker sniped from me. It also looks like I will have to continue exploration through ATs territory, so I send him an OB deal. Right now he's the only one I want to sign that treaty with. Mjmd looks to be my mortal enemy for the foreseeable future and Jowy is getting too strong. Hopefully that OB deal will also keep him from attacking me.
Meanwhile on the otherside my perfect micro planning did not work because Mjmd did not take control of those tiles even though it says he has 52% control. Don't you all love how culture works in this game.

Mh, the spoiler thread is getting a lot of attention. Most likely from the eternal conflict between pindicator and Giraflorens. I don't have prove that those are fighting, but pindicator is constantly ending one turn only when he's the last and it looks like he's waiting for Giraflorens.

My experience with tile flips is that they become effective only the turn after the leader in the displayed percentage has changed.

I noticed that Jowy is building roads on our southern isthmus, now this could mean two things that are both bad for me:
1. He's trying to build a pink dot towards me there.
2. There is another barb city he's going to take.
Right now my chariot is acting as a MP in CommandoPygmies. I will whip my settler in CommandoPygmies in T88 and at that time I don't need the MP for a few turns and can start investigating.
I knew something was strange when an axe appeared at my border there.
