Judge and Tap

We should go Model for +1 and plan out +1 after model

I think TEAM for +1 after model, if we agree we let him know our +1 guess order.

JUDGE and TAP make sense.

I like MODEL next as the stereotype of pretty models washing cars is quite common.

Azoth, feel free to point to the +1. I’m on board with Model but don’t want to point to that before everyone has a chance to weigh in.

Assuming that's right, I think I lean BUCK for the third word.

Of these:

a TEAM of MODELs with SOAP
MODELs with SOAP out to make a BUCK

the second is more likely to suggest Carwash, though it's close.

Is this a word?

Assuming yes (and someone knows what it means, I certainly don't), then the only interpretation I can get from this clue is to guess all our remaining +1 guesses (CROW, FENCE, PEA & LEMON I think?) aside from whatever Twopenny is leaning away from. Assuming we get everything right, we should stop at 3 correct guesses as that would be 6 words total and that is all the words we've been clued.

It's an old-timey coin, British or may have existed early in America. I could see it pointing to Buck as the opposite of a small coin. Maybe Casino the same way. Though that's a really roundabout way to clue those. I have a vague memory of the word showing up in a nursery rhyme about a crow, which we were already leaning away from.

I guess my plan would be to guess Pea, Lemon, Fence, then Buck.

Bolded. +1

After further thought, I think I'm just thinking of the well-known "pockets full of sixpence / four-and-twenty blackbirds" rhyme. No idea if that's what he's going for or not, but I don't have any better theories...

I'm on board with guessing all our remaining ideas, but I think the 0 clue is intended for us to not hit some specific words (or at least I tried using a 0-clue like that in the past). I'd be pretty skeptical about BUCK as a result, but we don't have any wiggle room at this point...

I maintain that Homebird was meant to hit PARROT (kept as pets) and exclude CROW (notoriously hard to tame and generally uncooperative), so I'd prefer to hold off on that for now.
