[Spoilers - AT PB56] Whipping unhappy faces until El Grillo's morale improves

T3:

Some nice 5f tiles to claim in the north, hopefully we can go further west and backfill, especially the deer site. Early Moai at the silver island also looks pretty appealing, we have enough early happiness to just build it with 2-pop whip overflows. Gotta try and get early value from IND whenever we can!

Watching this game globally, happy to check in on you and see if your frown turns upside down.

I'm laughing very hard at these starts.

Well howdy neighbors. Looks like Stonehenge city is going to be a front city. I'm very optimistically penciling it in 1W on a hill in response twirl

I'm really going to regret not being IMP, aren't I.

Who needs IMP when you have IND!
"Superdeath seems to have acquired a rep for aggression somehow. [Image: noidea.gif] In this game that's going to help us because he's going to go to the negotiating table with twitchy eyes and slightly too wide a grin and terrify the neighbors into favorable border agreements, one-sided tech deals and staggered NAPs."

It's a good thing you only need 3 cities to win a cultural victory scared

lol, Well Imp is great, but its possible to still get settlers out reasonably. Going from IMP in pbem 78 to not IMP in Pb 55 was tough, but we were still able to get comparable city count. You just need to be aggressive and use more forests.

Still that stonehenge site is pretty nice a great blocker and really helpful in setting up a wider land claim. Do you think you will get masonry and stone hooked before you chop it out? Or just chop 3 forests and call it a day?

Does the CTRL+TAB logger not record forest growths? I had a forest appear 1W of the capital which is annoying for me in the short run, because it adds 2T of wasted Worker transit time from ivory->stone and then stone->hill. At first I thought I had just missed it in my sandbox somehow, but no, it must've grown in a fairly recent turn.

It should appear in your log if it happened in your culture
