 T113 This is a pic of the situation. In the 4 W cities granaries are build. And in the others 2 barracks, 2 markets and units. Next turn a Gscientist is born and we start the GA, although I should calculate to make Vassalage with it. I have ready two galleys to conquer the Island. I doubt wheter attacking his galley with 32% odds. I think I will wait to see what Jowy does with the closest galley. I already loaded 2 keshiks in one galley.  T117 We conquered the last city of Jowy. It was in an island with 3 archers on a hill. We lost only one Keshik. Not bad. I was wandering if the keshiks are better that Swordmen to attack archers in the city and it seems to be better. I think I’d lost more swords in attacking this city. There is a settler ready to set in the NE, but I am afraid about the cost, so I wait. In the next 9 turns I plan to get Feudalism with the Gscientist, and I calculate to get the tech and to change principles to Vassalage in the GAge. So I must be very careful in the coins generation for having the tech ready and not losing a turn in the principle change.  The other question is about the Great general. I use to invert it in a city to increase the XP of units, but I have seen that here people usually make them with units. I was planning to take it to the south city in the picture which seems to be great for units production. 
well with ger and vasalage can get 11 experince mounted units which is very nice. To bad other generals were killed at 87+ odds, I see you got some luck with kesick was about time. I think after getting vasalage going for literature to get up the epics is the right move.
 T119 Wow, this is getting very exciting! The two leaders are fighting among them. That means that Lapteuq is not invaded by Noble, as I expected. We started the golden age. I hope to get Feudalism and Vassalage in 8 turns. And I will try to retain the production of units as much as I can, at least the mounted units. The yield of gold has increased from 58 coins to 130 due to the golden age. I still am retaining the settler for avoiding the cost of one more city. And will wait to put to scientist in New Sarai to the next turn, when it grows. Also still 3 turns for the 2nd market in Besbalik.

T126 War on Lazteuq. He is leaving the cities of the south and Noble is coming with a pile of 12 Horses. I took two of the border cities and hope to get Adrianopolis next turn. Otherwise it will be Noble’s. I should go to the city Nicara in north of Turfan, it seems to be a key point between Noble and I. Also Angora is another alternative.  T129 Lazteuq demands peace. I reject. I want to conquer Nicaea and probably destroy it. It takes food of Turfan, and It will be difficult to defend, because it is in the middle of Noble territory. I plan to attack when I have 3 or 4 catas. In Bajan I am build the National Epic. It should be the city of produccing units. And I am making Longbowmans to defend the Eastern cities. Also I am doubting about making the Great library in Karakorum. It could help the research, but it is going to take very long to build it because there are no forest left. I have made two big errors: in the North island I wanted to make the Moai city (i borrowed the stone) but I placed the Great Wall by mistake, so there are many hammers lost on it. Also I forget to take the civic of Hereditarian Rule at the same time than Vassalage, so if I want to take it I lose one turn now. About Research, I am doubting about Iron or Metal Working. Definitley this last is what I am interested in, but Iron can help getting the mines.   T132 I put down a little bit the defenses of Narea to the 30%. And I have to use one more turn to put them down to the 10%. Now the strength of the longbowmans is around 16!!! Also I started the Great Library in Karakorum, which will take 17 turns. I hope to reduce it a little bit working some hammers tiles. Noble finished the Colossus, and the coast tiles are reporting him 5 of Gold, each!! |
