Care to share your thoughts on how the first 100 turns have gone, and where you're setting your next goals?

What I would change with hindsight: Buddhist missionaries earlier for border pops and happiness, and settling Jaye before Croissant, which had been the original plan.
We don't have any wonders, but we did fine in PB58 without them. We've kept up in expansion and are doing good in tech. Early game should be our weakest period.
In late game we will have our double eco traits, we'll have Amphibious attackers by upgrading Berserkers, and we'll have a movement advantage on the sea.
I want to grab CS and Machinery next for safety. We could go Machinery first and then take a detour to Archery for Xbows if things look dicey.
Getting a golden age or two and a shrine going is another priority. I'm thinking double scientists in Croissant soon for the first GA, and try to generate a prophet for a shrine and two different GP's for a second GA.

Might be game over for us:
Rome seems to have chosen us as their target. They demanded 100 gold as a tribute, which I offered back as 10 GPT so they can't take it and attack anyway.
I dry-whipped axes everywhere. I thought about triremes, but they can land this turn if they want to, at least the 4 praets that are probably in those two galleys.
We'll see if Rome takes the tribute and stays put. His power isn't super high yet. In any case I'm going to work towards getting Berserkers and destroying Rome.

He didn't take the gold and razed our island city:
He lost 1 praet in the attack, so he's down to 3, with no new galleys in sight.
We can defend both Emperor and Sora with 4 axes, so we're building some triremes next to push him out.
What's the point of this attack? What does he gain by doing this? There's open land to settle and he's attacking overseas to raze cities.
If there's a bigger army on the way to actually gain land from me, he should not have given me an advance warning like this.

Image host is down. I'll add a screenshot later if I remember.
First Trireme caught up with GKC's Galleys. We can kill one next turn if we win the 90% battle. We can cover the Trireme with our Galley so it can't get counterattacked.
3 more Triremes are coming out next turn. We have 9 axes to defend against the last 3 praets if they land.
We have a scout north so we'll know if a stack comes that way. South is still a possibility. We can't get much warning there because our borders are so close.
With the loss of our island city, we rely a lot on trade routes from friendly players. Luckily we have OB with 3 of them.

Imgur still broken so have some Arknights music instead:
GKC landed the praets on the island instead of the continent. We attacked the galleys, but lost the 90% roll.
Luckily we had another trireme just built and in range, and that one won its roll. Our own galley killed the injured galley.
GKC's three praets are now stranded on the island. We can clear them for free exp when we have berserkers.
Triremes are going forward towards GKC territory next, and keeping an eye on any GKC ships of course.
I've sent some of the axes south. We have the scout north at GKC's border so we'll have advance warning if he tries anything that way.
Dyes and Sugar were connected this turn. Happiness issues are no more, but whipping hurt the economy and set us back.
We are also #1 in the world in Soldiers.

Logging out and back in seems to have fixed the problem, so here you go:
Razed island city. All 3 surviving praets landed on the island.
We lost this battle #XCOM-odds
The new Trireme from Sora was in range and won, so we still managed to kill the galleys.
Here's an older pic of the scout:
Ages ago I turned him around in SD's land and decided I could use him to watch out for invasions and marched him back south. It's paying off now.
