[PB61 spoilers] vanrober lonely in a green field

And because I'm having so much fun with this. This obviously is a river too and both cities are connected with each other. They only don't show a trading symbol because their not connected with their capitol.

Is the check only if all relevant tiles are river tiles?

Turn 8

So moved the scout as already said and some food apeared, on first thought getting a dot first ring clams and silver makes a lot of sense, but if we make second ring silver there is so much food sharing that could be worth.

This turn something happened and the average of GNP rised, so maybe someone started 3h tile making a WB and now it finished and is working a food source on coast with 2 gold. Noone has 5 hammers so maybe that makes sense, but then why not rised the food? I dont understand very well xD

Turn 9

So This has really killed me, 3 silvers, 2 of them on tundra, if all the food to work those is that crab i think there is no way for me to use 3 silvers but trading those.

Demos keep changing, im afraid someone is tricking me somehow changing citicens logging several times, and there is a lot of spam in the PBSPY xD But now the food raised to 7 which means someone took a fish with 2 gold as i thought yesterday. Also someone has improved his gnp to 20, so maybe the cre one has 2 more gold out of that fish? not sure there is any other option right now.

turn 10

So there were some food, another fish on coast. Its seems Tarkeel learnt from PB60 hehehe. I really apreciate!

But in terms of the city, there is 2 hill cities that might work, although plainshill is always better for those 2 hammers. But then we kind of orphan the silver i guess.... I need to see what is more north to make a definitive settling.

The worker finished and started working the wheat.

Im falling on demos, so it seems the rest of the players have made a completely different way that maybe involves workboats. edit: Two people grew so yeah they were in coast and made wb probably.

If you want to, you can check the top 5 cities screen, or do some math with the population demographic, to see how many people have grown their capital to size 2.

I ve done that every single turn but this one xD i might come in again since i forgot to take a screenshot for the fish and the dots. I think its better to see it on screen rather than reading me xD

I apreciate the help ElGrillo

Sorry for taking over your thread, vanrober. But all these trade route shenanigans yesterday made me curious and I tested out how else to connect cities and I came up with aboves example. With Sailing all of these cities are connected. The trade route goes from Hadrumentum in the south

- via the coast jumping over the land bridge into the lake near Carthage
- from Carthage via the road to the fort at the lake
- the fort apparently serves as a point of entry to the lake 1NW of it
- from there we jump land again to the next lake 1NW.
- there we just enter the river like a normal person only to
- continue jumping across the rivers to
- finally jump the river bend and land in Utica

I love it. Craziest thing is that the fort helps with accessing from land to water tiles and vice versa.

EDIT: And yes that means you can have a completely landlocked empire without coastal cities and still have ocean or coast trade routes with other neighbors thanks to a fort.

The rivers have to flow in the same direction and the tiles need to be connected in a straight line (not diagonally)?
