Seems like mirror is far more weighted with chaos and nature nodes and only a couple of sorcery nodes. While on arcanus there are more sorcery nodes then other nodes. It makes it harder to farm sorcery books because there aren't many high powered sorcery nodes.
Also I remember nodes being guarded a lot better, I.E. I remember seeing 9 x sky drakes guarding some nodes in the original. i never see that in this mod. I was curious as to why? If I do see sky drakes it's no more then 4.
Also if anyone knows where in the settings I could tweak the node types for the planes I'd be interested.

I personally like it that there is a greater chance to get a nature book, because it matches my play-style of artificer and only 1 Nature book. However, from my experience the rarest books to find are:
The most rare is death books, after that life books, after that chaos books and after that sorcery books.
I personably think that there are too few picks available and that the minimum number should be increased to the number of players. I often see gameplays in YouTube were players are disappointed from the number of books and retorts they have found in the game, mostly it's because they got a bad luck roll to the number of picks allocated to the game and they only find it out after they have put a lot of effort into the game. Add to that the fact that most players will not find the most picks for themselves because they don't have much experience with the game.
I understand that there are people that prefer a low number of picks because it will increase the "theme/playstyle" they get when building their wizard. but from what I see they are the minority.

I am opposite, the most common books for me is chaos follow by nature and then sorcery, not due to they are so few sorcery books but due to sorcery node tend to be easier for ai (for ai, only raw number matter, and sorcery not good at raw number) while late game chaos node tend to be more difficult in game with a lot of wizard due to likely coming of Chaos Surge and Blazing Eye rise raw number of chaos creatures a lot. So AI likely get sorcery books before me regardless left only powerful chaos and nature node that have pick available for me.

what I said is from common to uncommon:
Nature->Sorcery->Chaos->Life->Death
What you said:
Chaos->Nature->Sorcery->(life/death)
so we are not that far apart.
I am assuming that you meant that are opposite about which books are the most common and not about that the minimum number of pick should be increased.

I checked the way nodes get their realm assigned and it's Nature, Sorcery, Chaos looping in that order. So there will always be the same amount of nodes of each type, or 1 higher of Nature or Nature and Sorcery.
However this is done globally, not separately per plane, and nodes are chosen in the order of their affinity to each type.
For example the first node to get assigned the "Nature" realm is the one with the most adjacent Grassland and Forest tiles. Then the highest amount of Rivers, Tundra, and Swamp are chosen for Sorcery and Mountain/Hills for Chaos, then the next highest Forest/Grass for Nature again etc.
This means the distribution of nodes depends on which tiles were chosen, if your Myrror nodes are mostly in Mountain/Hill/Desert terrain while Arcanus nodes are near rivers and tundra then you get the result you describe.

Such nodes are almost completely unbeatable by AI players and the treasure budget is so high it would be kinda pointless (you'd get a bunch of gold or mana from the leftover budget, otherwise the good stuff would be mostly the same as 4 Sky Drakes.)

Unless I´m missing something this means that Sorcery nodes will be slightly likelier to show up close to the poles compared with the others, reducing therefore their presence elsewhere. That´s the case in my current game for instance - I have to take care of those djinns and sky dragons still....

Hi,
Why don't lair monsters match the book type? I cleared 3 demons, 5 wrights cave and got a life book, I deliberately don't attack Temples to avoid getting life books I know that you get life books in temples and death books in Stonehenge, but can you please match the monster type to the found book type?
Also, in my opinion, the amount of pick is too low in the game and it should have a minimum values of the number of players.
