My only comment would be to switch on resource indicators every now and then.

Hmmm, a flat line of coast, it appears. Perhaps I am on a triangle? God [in this case, Kyan] only knows. There will hopefully be more to report on when I reach that hill to the NE.

@Adlain: I'll PM you the relevant directions [and email addresses, and passwords] tomorrow, after I play the turn. Thanks again for volunteering. thumbsup

Moar fish33z! smile Of course, I don't know how I can grab that fishy AND the other one, so it will probably go to waste, but oh well. And just as I suspected, the land ends.

Adlain, I PM'd you the stuffz. For those of without intimate access to Adlain's account, well, you better hope that he posts something about it.

Ok, on to the first turn intrused to me.............. poor Tatan.

First the instructions are clear:
Tatan Wrote:I want Kruppe to move in the following manner:

Follow the red line!

When Animal Husbandry comes in, I want you to select Mining.

And if the turns get this far [not that I expect them to], when my worker is done, build a warrior, while working the piggy.

Nice and simple, so i moved Kruppe as directed, checked to make sure Mr city govoner wasnt doing anything funny took afew screenies and sent the save along.
1 problem, after i sent the save to Cyneheard`s replacment Gmail decided that i had done something dodgy and wants the account varified via Mobile phone text msg.............duhbanghead Sorry Tatan, but i thought it best to leave that for you to varify as its your account, if however you want me to go ahead and do it i will.

Now for the Screenies:
Here is the land of the Mighty Tatan:
There are some gems 4S 2E of the capital but the bubble didnt show...

here is the capital:
Ha ye got enough food there laddie!!! Pig sheep and double wheat, i dont see growth as a problem for this town - you can certainly look into sharing some of that food with other cities if land is tight.

Demographs:
Now before anyone thinks im going to go into all this ala PB and Sullla you got another thing commin, theres 2 problems with that 1) its all gobbldy gook to me and 2) im too damn lazy to learn it (at the moment). Dont get me wrong, i do use them but only as a guide to how i am doing in relation to the other teams - and in this case i think we are just dandy with exception to afew Aggressive soldior points out there - Might be worth abit of early Militery just incase one comes calling early.

Top 5 Cities:
Just a quick mention as it shows 1 thing, if you do get around to demographs number crunching, this shows that 3 (inc us Founded on turn 0 and 3 took a turns movment before settling. just might be intresting to note is all.

Thus ends my Picture Spam - comments welcome as this is only the 2nd time i have posted about a turn and i would like to know if this is good enough

The report was fine! thumbsup

Hm, the land is looking awfully... triangular. I noticed how many of the other players didn't settle right away; I suspect that they probably had the same position I had where a food bonus could be gained.

I notice that Qin [Serdoa] received a score increase, which I am going to peg down [with my admittedly poor C&D non-skillz] as a tech, perhaps... mysticism? After all, it is a pretty cheap tech, and being the only industrious leader, perhaps Serdoa is going for the big Henge.

I have been thinking about the map, and I have a theory. I think that Kyan has stranded me [and probably the others, too] on a triangular island, with the intention of forcing us to colonize across to the more fertile land in the middle [like, say, that revealed silver/floodplain spot]. Hopefully, there will be enough stuff to colonize that my Indiamen will actually come in handy jive. A preliminary [and admittedly wildly speculative, and also a total piece of junk because it was drawn on an airplane] map layout:

Now, if only I could get a lurker to tell me how completely wrong I am, hmmm... cookies?!

Oh, and don't beat yourself up about the account, Adlain; I literally set it up for the sole purpose of this game, only a couple weeks ago, so it is certainly no big loss to me.

Sounds like a reasonable assumption - although i would not put it past the map maker to put some on a shared Island and some on an Isolated island. Time will tell though as if your right there will not be any really early wars and if im right there most likley will be.

Also, looking at the screenies again - i think BW would be a good idea before you plan on settling abrord, where theres some Jungle, id wager theres alot more hiding away in the fog

Not beating myself up about it, just annoyed. ruddy google, most people ask for a sendery Email account for these types of situation, but no - Google must have you Phone number to track you down and steal your money while they are at it tongue

Ok, Turn 7 has flown by, nothing really to report. Kruppe has hiked up a mountain, took afew snaps of the capital from afar for his photo album and will continue off towards the NW Coastline next time.

Demographs show nothing of any realy intrest atm
[Image: Civ4ScreenShot0033.jpg]
although looking at it more closly than lastnight, atleast one player has a costal start (12k land Vs our 21k Land) so if your theory of offshore colonisation being key to this game is correct, alongside your map - we need to get a costal city asap and get some scouts on the warter.

Also looks like Bodica and Gilgamesh got a points increse this turn of 6, i would guess that they just got Agriculture, not Mysticism as if their start is anything like ours, Wheat and Corn could be their main food and they dont start with Agri. Also our GNP is Identical bar 1 team (we have 19, they have 21) and our tech is due in 2 turns (with approx 38 beakers left on our 100 beaker AH), So for the posable techs with 62 beakers or less are:
Agri @ 60 Beakers -> Best fit IMHO
Archery @ 60 Beakers -> Doubt it as i think Food is a higher priority at this tage of the game
Fishing and Hunting @ 40 Each - Not likly IMHO
Mining @ 50 Beakers -> Same as Archary
Wheel @ 50 Beakers -> Just plain Silly

So anyways, AH due in 2, Worker in 4, Capital looks identical as before.
