I established a 2nd city and I am deciding between Arabia in the west and Russia in the east as viable targets.

I got 4 luxuries, so my jaguar warriors pack quite a bunch.

Either I go for conquest or a choke. For a conquest I should have stayed with one city. So choke it is probably.

Back from the summer downtime.

So, lets jump in at the current point.

Well, no early jaguar warrior rush. I got 2 nice city sites and I wanted my luxuries as a bonus.

There will be no 3rd plant however. We are getting jaguars and trying to choke Russia especially thanks to their nice natural wonder.

Not enough scouting done with Arabia, optional in 5 turns.

Plan is to build 4 archers and 4 eagle warriors and supported by a scout hit Russia. That city is too nice.

The plant was behind the river so someone is paying attention though.

Only 3 luxuries for +3 and mil tradition as an advantage.

I am not sure if this is sufficient, but at the very least I should do enough damage to take Russia out in the long run.

A touch choice between initiation rites or god of the forge.

I could use the faith longterm and I could use a warrior right now.

Did it spawn a warrior or an Eagle Warrior, out of curiosity?

Next turn 2 campuses down, 2 monuments on the way and then push for 2 more cities with EE.

Then I probably do a choke war with Arabia.

If Russia does not get more units soon this will end nasty.

Sorry about the german language, but my son plays on this CPU as well.

   

Cornering Moscow.

My scout prevents the slinger from interfering and I prevent the 2nd warrior from going north as well.

Next turn 3 attacks and 1 shot.

2 more reinforcements for a slow siege of St.Petersburg enroute.

Turn 49

Russia´s position is not good.

He let me breach the river and his reinforcements come later, probably only taking my milpower seriously when I actually showed up.

My sentry warrior and scout do their job and cut off his reinforcements. In his desperation his warrior tries to break through with predictable results. 

And as one can see, keeping my scout around does matter in keeping his slinger occupied. Still no Archery on his end which is bad for him.

Moscow falls next turn. Question is, do we keep it.

And we enslave a worker. Which is good.
