I've been playing FGO. Don't play FGO.

So I looked for a new one and FGO (Fate/Grand Order) is very popular. You may not want to fall down that rabbit hole ![]() Here's good old Napoleon in his summoned form: The title of the thread is a play on words on the Fate franchise's first game, Fate/stay night.
Leader ideas:
Pro/Fin Wang Kon Pro/Phi Sitting Bull Pro/Ind Qin Shi Huang Civ ideas: Portugal America Dutch Mali Got a game plan in mind. GKC said more water than in PB52. I want to play defensive and tech up in peace.

The civs I was eyeing don't have great starting techs for this, so I went for a leader. Phi or Ind might have been more interesting, but Fin is stronger
![]() Pro might not be highly contested after the nerfs, but it's what I want to play. In that sense, first pick was tricky. It's tempting to go for something meta like India or Byzantines.
Note to self, bully team Lewwyn if opportunity arises
![]() The starting screenshot has less water than expected, but the start might be similar to PB52 where at least for me, the capital was the only inland city. I wanted to try out lumbermills even before they got moved to MC. Now it might not actually be as foolish. I will chop elsewhere, but leave forests up for at least 1 city to be a long term production centre.
Very curious how that city turns out to develop and contribute.

Gashbears in badgame PB13 is running a heavily lumbermill-based economy on RtR 5.0.0.1. His economic resutls are not bad, however he was not able to keep up with development early.
