As stated by the topic header, I am trying to get the black outline present on the Original Magic Spirit to appear on my Edited Magic Spirit, but was not successful. I even compared the outline black pixel values, they are the same values. What am I doing wrong? I am using Gimp for the Art Editing. I tried using an all black blackground too on the units, but it does not show on the combat scape. The total black background does appear on the Combat UI scape around the unit. Is there a specific format I should save it in ?
As you can tell, I am NOT an artist and as such suck at art, I am mostly a designer/scripter, so any advice on the art side would really help.
Edit: Nevermind, I found out why. Gimp freaking loses the information regarding the outline on the 1st save, despite indicating otherwise. I had to manually take out the outlines 1 image at a time, take the new image, and save the outlines manually back. This is going to take a long time.
