I've been thinking of a map like this for a while, so when I saw I knew I had to put forward this idea eventually. My idea is to use the AI survivor championship map, but modify it a bit. I mainly want to separate the tip of each peninsula into an island (optional, but I like including AN island for each player); other option is to just delete a lot of the ends to make it somewhat smaller. Do some balancing / moving of resources around where the peninsulas meet so those spots aren't quite as important and instead push more towards the middle for more chaos. Probably delete some of the lakes in the middle and replace with more river to give even more chances for blood.
Obviously the map is known, so if you don't like the balance of a start speak up OR make changes yourself. Just try to communicate so we don't have people working on at same time / doing weird things. I'm not looking for strict balancing, but close enough so you don't care where you start. Idea is to random the starts instead of as part of the pick process (will NOT be leaders / civs that were in actual match).
If we get enough signup can do two of them. One I'm in will be CtH. Other settings will do a voting spreadsheet for eventually as normal.
