I don't things will end well. Quick speed is just too much of a difference.

Quick speed nerfing early war is has got to be the reason Monty got buffed so hard. They were arguably the strongest civ in the game at release, and although the DLC civs passed them by they definitely didn't need this much of a bump.
So we get an already strong civ with some extra bonuses, piloted by the strongest player in this field? If Archduke doesn't run over the map, I'll be floored.
Yeah, I worry it's going to be yet *another* Civ VI PBEM that devolves into a quick ancient age rush followed by everyone else giving up.
