COM for Windows Battle Challenges

In this thread I will post interesting, difficult battles. I will upload saved games and instructions where to attack or defend. After loading game, your first move must be to attack or press end turn and wait to be attacked. But looking around and checking AI statistics, etc. is allowed. Only information gathering is allowed before the battle. I will also post goal with a clear scoring formula that allows comparison of multiple submissions/results. These challenges will be numbered and deadline will be given for each. Each player can only submit one solution. Count accurately how many tries it took for you to get your submitted solution. Submission requirements will be also posted. Enjoy!

The hosting person evaluates the submitted results and declares winner.

Battle Challenge 1
COM Version: 1.05.09, 2025-02-26 

Your first move:
With Torin and the 8 Troll Magicians with it attack the Green town with 9 Sky Drakes in it. Before the battle you are not allowed to take any action that changes the game state, such as casting, swapping items, trading mana, destroying item, moving unit, etc. But you are allowed to look around to gather information.
 
Submission protocol:
1. Type in that you accepted the challenge and officially entered the tournament.
2. Play as many times as you want, but count accurately how many times you tried. Report the number of tries that you submit.
3. Submit only one solution per official contestant by the deadline, which is October 14, 2025 UTC
4. Scoring formula
    Tier 1. Fewest number of tries to win the battle. Torin must survive.
    Tier 2. If tied, then the most units survived OR if you lost then the most Sky Drakes killed.
    Tier 3. If tied, then the earliest entry into the Challenge
5. Result posting requirements. Submit the following: 
    A. Screenshot at the beginning of your Turn 2 in battle
    B. Screenshot just before the end of the battle
    C. Short English description about your key decisions you made
    D. After battle, screenshot the surviving winner group (regardless if you won or lost)
    E. Save Game immediately after the battle
    F. Hide your submission from others so they don't see it too easily in order to not spoil it for them. Use spoilers like this:

Invulnerability on Torin, all 8 magicians + overland wizard cast web on first turn. Then cast earth to mud with overland wizard, exchange combat with Torin once per turn and use his remaining MP to cast healing on himself. Trade 1x per turn, cast healing 1x with Torin, cast healing 1x with overland wizard, repeat.
