Elemental Thrower team

Hi guys,

I am sorry for missing last night's game, but it really wasn't my fault - our online service went on the blink two days ago, and was out entirely yesterday. It finally got restored late last night, but, alas! Too late for the ET team...

Hubby tried to console me by taking me to see "Troy" -- with only middling success. An average movie at best, I am sorry to say!

I expect to get online later this week, so I may see some of you there.

Cheers,
Hawkmoon

May we all have better luck next week. smile

Without your presence, we declined to carry on with the Throwers, and instead played a Hell game with Zed's Necromancer, Shishak's Werewolf, King of Pain's Electric Revenge Paladin and my Necromancer. Anya was rescued and we played through to the demise of the Ancients.

I sowed confusion (not the spell) by casting different curses than Zed and tripping over Evil Urns  but the rest of the group managed very well.

As to "Troy", I had feared that the plot chosen for this version of the story would be an annoyance to me, and so have passed thus far on spending my money on it. Even the possibility of a hunked up Brad Pitt to ogle just wasn't enough to draw me in. Your assessment has me now convinced that it was the right decision. I somehow doubt that any version besides that of Marion Zimmer Bradley in "The Firebrand" would satisfy me anyway.

Hi

I have no technical reason for my absence. However, the English language Leaders Debate was televised from 8:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. and I really wanted to watch it myself, rather than read five (differently slanted) takes on it the next day.
