It only took me a couple seconds to twig, but man, those were a scary couple of seconds.

yep, the first time I got this in one of my games, my first reaction was

"Hey, nice easter egg! They honored his work for the community!"

...

"Ah wait, it's 'Sinan', not 'Sirian'..."

...

"Man, those proof readers at Firaxis really suck. having missed this typo..."

I did a lot more than map scripts, but the map scripts are the only area where I was part of the programming effort.
