That's good because I don't care for which civ I get, and the leader doesn't make a HUGE difference either. We ARE playing base BTS, so financial is super powerful. I would like to get creative if we can, but financial will be more important. However, as 6th in the snake order, we will get neither the best leader nor the best civ, but rather a decent one of each. I would like to get Darius I if we can. Fin/Org is one of the best trait combos out there with Pacal (EXP/FIN) and Willem (CRE/FIN) banned. If we could pick up Egypt, Greece, or Persia with our civ pick, that would also be good. They all have good unique units, and Egypt and Greece have strong unique buildings too. In fact, if we pick up Egypt, we could even go for Hannibal over darius, to get the 2 happy from CHA + Obelisk. We should really wait to see our start before we even think of our civ picks, but I'd like to rule out the Romans/Byzantium just because of the bias that other civs will have against us. If by some miracle Survy slides to us, we should take him in a heartbeat, but I highly doubt that'll happen. The only other Exp worth mentioning in my mind are Peter and Isabella, but they should come after the Financials (I'd put Peter in front of Huayna, not a big fan of industrious). That said, some honourable mentions are Kublai (if we want to be dicks), which we should take with an early UU, and Zara Yaqob. your MP experience isn't much less than mine, PB13 and pbem53 are my first MPgames and they are only just starting really.
