been thinking about getting back in the swing of things, so i'm looking if there anyone up for some casual PBEM, similar to 52
all players use fully randomized Leader/Civs, and the Map is also random (no doctoring of any kind, just let the game roll something), with the cave-at that 'mapmaker' checks for isolation and rerolls if it happens.
anyone interested?

I may be interested in this if it is quick speed. I would actually be happy with no checking from the mapmaker at all. Deal the hand you're dealt.

I'd like to, if no base BtS

That's great and all but you run risk of losing from T0 doing it that way. See PB11 for details about what an unmodified random map can be. Fun, sure. Can everyone win? Don't count on it. But hey, YOLO right?

Understood and the warning is appreciated. I'm still up for this game, but with the caveat that it is using base BTS and no mods. It would be too confusing for me to play 2 games with different game rules.

If this game has not already started, I would also like to play. I actually don't like having to try to pick my own leader/civ....too much overthinking of things. And same with the maps being custom made to make everyone have at least a good start. I miss the old days of starting a SP game and trying to work your way out of a crappy situation...or simply dying quickly when you can't.

Let me know your mod preference and player order and I can roll something tonight.

Would play if not base. Full random in base BtS can be too much to overcome. RtR slightly preferred to Tides

I don't think that's what Sian wanted. I'd be up for a SMEG test game if it's ready for one
