Great Report! Your only cultural buildings variant is interesting. What would be excluded... humm lighthouse, harbor, market , granary, barracks, observatory, laboratory, drydock, aqueduct, forge , grocer, airport, factory , powerplants, hospitals, courthouses

Could be a good be an interesting game there

ps. I probably left something important out of that list (I almost left courthouses off (see it at the end of the list), imagine forgetting courthouses
pss. Here is a question- If you could only have one non-cultural building which would it be? courthouses? forges? factories?

One non-cultural building... on wet maps it would have to be Lighthouse I think, esp for Financial leaders. For industrial, well the Forge, which also allows Colossus and Statue of Liberty. Barracks could be tempting. Courthouses are nice, but not essential (Versailles and State Property).

Forge would probably overall be most tempting, as a way to get engineer points and to unlock the two wonders. However capturing a forge wouldn't be impossible or improbable so on sum I think Lighthouse would be choice (also unlocking G.Lighthouse).

Also, non-cultural wonders should probably be forbidden too (ie Pentagon). Maybe projects allowed because launching a spaceship without any industrial infrastructure (or observatories for that matter) would be quite an amusing achievement; they wouldn't even know where they're sending it too .

It does sound like a potentionally entertaining variant, and prehaps educational by making the cultural/religious tech branches much higher priority.

Maybe you should take the time to craft and submit such rules to Sirian or Griselda for the next adventure.

interesting game, but the variant was wacky. All these exceptions made it too specific for my taste. Congrats on the win though.
