Why aren't topics being marked as read?

The title says it all. Even if I click on mark all topis as read the forum is still telling me there are posts to read.

Any idea why this started acting this way recently?

Did you clear out your cookies and then deny one from the forum?

I haven't touched my cookie folder in ages. I did have to log on again to the forums a few days ago.


EDIT: The forum is suddenly working right again today despite me doing NOTHING. huh

I use Firefox and notice that if I mark posts as read, then close my browser, and visit the forums again a very short while later, the posts are marked as unread again. It seems to work fine if I keep my browser open or wait a while between visits.

FYI - this is some type of IE bug. If it keeps refusing to mark a thread as read I close that browser session, then open another. The new session will mark it as read.
