Is that character a variant? (I just love getting asked that in channel.) - Charis

FoW run

Are we suppose to have another FoW run again tonite?

A guildie run sure made things Much Smoother smile

I think we can easily do it with a 5 man team and be effective. Up on the skills-to-bring wish list to make it even more efficient are:

Spiteful Spirit for more aoe damage. will save the nuker much energy.

More interrupt and or energy denial for multi monks mob. Perhaps Backfire and Scourage Healing.

Moons is spec for pure heal, but she can drop her Heal to 12 and Divine to 13 or so, and drop Heal Party from the bar so she can bring another rank8-10 skill into play such as SS or some prot... would rather not bring another elite so she won't have to drop Word she came to love so much.

I can probably make it tonight, with either my ranger or my ele. The former could bring my choking gas build or a barrage-bot (worked well in UW the other day) or else with my ele I can bring air/fire damage or healing... though I wouldn't claim to be a masterful healer.

I might actually be able to join in. 8)

I'd stick with Ice Blade in the same configuration again...

1. Mist Form
2. Ice Spear/Conjure Frost*
3. Ice Spikes
4. Maelstrom
5. Blurred Vision
6. Energy Tap
7. Ether Feast
8. Aura of Restoration**

*Ice Spear is better single target damage when in Mist Form state, but with higher energy cost over time. It's also the preferred option when I have to double as text tank.
*Conjure Frost is a cheaper trickle feed damager under Mist Form and when not misted up becomes the weapon of choice against the Spell Breaker monks on the plains.

**I normally use Aura of Restoration unless we look very strong in the monking. By dealing with my own scratches I can better the healers focused on the weak point where their attention is most needed.

W1: Flint's Wand and 20/20 Frost Artifact
W2: Flint's Fleshcleaver

I've run this Mist Form build in FoW a few times now and it's about as good as I've found. With a 21 second Mist Form on a 30 second recharge and items to close the gap Ice Blade can just stand there holding enemy tanks that get through to the back lines and effectively neutralize them. If the items don't close the gap, Blurred Vision can cut the problem in half (or Maelstrom can scatter if we're really in trouble).

I can apply plenty of offensive pressure too and being able to shut down monks for 10 seconds once the tanks have them blocked in really helps when you find two of the damn things side by side. lol

My only real problem is enemy interrupts. frown

Lets try that again tonight. It would be great if we can get an early group together for an extended run then I will stay on Live (don't feel like going to the Alpha tonight)
