So begins, the FFA Fog of War! Should be interesting.. going to expand south and then keep a defensive force towards the east to keep them from establishing a forward barracks. Dogs are key in Fog of war.. going to be running alot of them to keep up on local happenings.
Map- Spoilered incase a player comes in for this first post-
Also something fun.. Any unit that cannot see a unit as its moving.. CANNOT attack something it finds. Has to be pre-seen.. An interesting ( and annoying ) mechanic. Lots of dogs, and some defensive trebs around my towns/barracks are going to be essential to pick off wandering troops D:

Well CH is using a "secret" commander that i dont have unlocked so i had to look it up. Apparently its a "dark" version of the main character Mercia. CH's groove is like Mercia, but it drains 30% of max hp, to heal him. Going to have to watch that..
Basic plan is to: Capture the southern Tower + towns, and hold it with a treb + scouting dogs. With the treb in a good place, and dogs to spot.. i wont be able to be seen before i can hit something with the treb. Im planning on grabbing my eastern neighbors "rightfully his" town/barracks, and im going to push into him with force. Im really curious due to fog of war... what the others are opening up with. Im going dog-dog then likely a rush to a defensive treb for the southern border, dependent on how quickly they push.
So because this map is a bit weird, it should be Me-Scooter on the top, and bottom is Bob-CH. I havent counted, but it should be roughly even distance between everyone. My best chances of victory, is if one of my neighbors focuses on CH. I think i can still pull off a win here just by cost effectively killing anything that comes my way via Trebs, but i cant wait to see how others react to this map.

Ok, so as a quick update: Im being pushed back a bit from the east, by Scooter. Ive built a treb, and it doesnt look like he has ANY dogs... ?????? So this should be some easy cleanup. He does have a barracks across the river from me, so his reinforcements will be quick.. Really dont want to give up this position though. Might make another treb up here to keep him back, while spotting with dogs.
Now, down south.. ive pushed Bob back from capturing a barracks, and i have 2 soldiers and a dog to guard that area till i can devote treb money for down here. Dogs + trebs i think is going to be the way to win this FFA FoW style match. Ill have to build a small meatshield to put in front of each of the trebs, just incase they get smart and send dogs forward to find the trebs before running into their firing range.

Not a current picture ( scooter obviously played next ) and he killed my soldier with his Commander, he ran the other soldier to go heal ( i assume ) and built a spear north of the barracks.. Very interesting. Because without dogs, you cannot spot units in forest's.. unless you are right next to them.. So between my dogs, my trebs, and eventually my slowly moving block of archers... this should be pretty fun

Got another turn in already....... Jesus. This turn i had some interesting decisions. I decided not to build another treb, neither in the north or the south.. due to Bob wagoning his commander into a forest south of MY barracks. I also held off on capturing the Tower, as i have no need for expensive air units at this time and it doesnt give income. Scooter "could" move in a way that his commander gets damaged, or he ( more likely ) will move in a way that threatens MY village. Treb can get a critical of 60% or so, and 2 dogs might be enough to get him to retreat.. will have to see what Scoot's does.
Bob is going to be in much more trouble if he moves to One specific spot, the east part of the barracks. He is semi-safe attacking the forested Soldier.. His dog can get a decent hit back on my dog, but my dog should be able to finish his dog off. If bob pushes me too much, he might lose territory to CH... and id rather not give CH more income.

Ok, really REALLY both excited and downed to find out that Bob might have just ran his Commander into literally the worst spot. I dont know how he is going to survive. He can break out using his two dogs ( one injured, one full hp under the cross-hair ) But i dont think he can outrun the Knight + a swordsman.. he MIGHT live.. but it will depend on how he moves. Ill also have to race down to capture his land if he doesnt live.. CH cannot be allowed to have access to the kind of eco that i require..
On the other front.. Scooter seems to be laying low.. Ive got 2 trebs in the area now. One treb that i screwed up on its movement, it should be one more north.. and then one new build. I have dogs all over to watch for any kind of sneak attack.. and im pretty sure i know where his Commander is. Just hoping i can keep him off my side of the river while i hopefully gobble up Bob.
Cross-hair shows where another dog is-

It'd be interesting story to hear how he got into that position!

Well, in the previous picture... he was in the forest 2south of the barracks. he decided it would be smart to destroy the barracks by apparently... any means. So, he attacked the left side of it. Which allowed me to surround and pin him in and likely... kill him.

I'm surprised why Bob did not put his commander into the cart, 2W3S of her original position. That seems to be 100% safe move, but I guess he felt it was too passive?
Unfortunate that RNG went against you twice, looks like bad combat rolls are something not exclusive to Civ.
