Better question. Over/under on number of turns until Team 4 is just TMIT and Yuris?

I'll set the line at 20.

And finally, since apparently some gambling is what we really need to make this game interesting, price is right style - cupie doll to the person who accurately predicts the turn that the game gets completely binned at. Closest without going over wins.

I'll say T48.

Go under definitely on the first one. To be blunt about it TMIT is not one to suffer fools too well, and unless Jkaen and Kuro begin to understand what is involved in a team game (one giant multicultural civ than individual civs working together) they'll never be able to work the game.

As regards game being binned, I'll take 64 3/4 turns.

Nine turns until next pause, game actually finishes (yikes).

This sounds about right. Not even a snowball's chance this thing finishes.

While making predictions is fun, this is all a little too negative for my tastes.

I'm hoping TMIT can really motivate Kuro and Jkaen and get them playing as a team. They don't need to win the game to be successful, but I'd like ot see them be competitive

I actually fully expect the game to end by T80? If it's not stopped. Medieval games are quite fast in my experience, especially when it's a team based.

If one team builds an unassailable lead, and the other teams concede, would you say they didn't finish? That's what I expect to happen.

I don't know TMIT personally and am myself quite green when it comes to playing in MP games, so I can't really evaluate his play on that front. I can say though, from listening to many of the Polycast episodes he has participated in that he has good knowledge of game mechanics and is a very good player, at least in SP. I doubt his memorization of AI civ XML will help him much against human players, and I don't know how much MP experience he has, but at least having someone with solid game knowledge on Team 4 has to help.

On the other hand, I hope he has the patience to see it through in a slow moving pitboss game. This is the guy who wrote the guide to speed civving, after all. And hopefully being known as the ME in team doesn't bode poorly for a team match! lol
