Quote:Team Blame Caledorn started with Mysticism and Agriculture
Team Care Bears started with Mysticism and Mining.
Team Eggheads started with The Wheel and Mysticism.
We'll look for a points increase on turn 9 or 12 for these teams then.
That tech list you posted makes a good reference.

Quote:The naming convocation act states the following terms for naming units under the rulership of Napoleon of Sumeria:
Workers: MLP characters
Army: Wrestlers (WWE/WWF/WCW/RAW/etc..)
Scouts/Spies/Missionaries/GreatPersons: dedlurkers!(lurkers posting in our thread, as it were)
Our first scout was unnamed, and has as such been named for our first lurkerpost by Commodore!
Hunting is finished, next tech is AH as previously planned.
8 turns until worker is ready.
Commodore has gone great lengths to procure the lay of the land:

So two teams teched this turn. That means teams Eggheads and Orgyanised have researched a tech.
Team Eggheads have researched Mining since they have got a tech already and thus they didn't go for a religious tech, or they might be trying for Monotheism as the religious tech. So that means now they can research BW(14 turns) in addition to the other techs. Hunting and fishing (6), Masonry and Agriculture (8), Mediation (9) and Poly (12)
Team Orgyanised researched more than likely mining but we can see if this is the case by looking at the soldier category and see if their is a difference. So they can research Fishing and Hunting (6), Mysticism (7), The Wheel (8), Masonry (9), AH (12) and BW (14). I it is Mysticism they got, then it will be Mediation (9) and Polytheism (12).
So these are the options right now. It will get more complicated when more cities are up and then we will need to see what they have got.

Looks like our next turn will be 9-3(NE-SE) since it looks like we are very much near the north of our landscape, so if that is the case we might not need another scout and go for warrior next and then have build a settler next?

Suggested path for Commodore: 8-7 ( a hill, north of the lake, should bring a number of tiles to our view)
What should our next tech following AH - Fishing be?
How much skullduggery is (or should be?) cultivated in following the actions of other teams?

We could be lucky, being at the NorthEast corner of a continent. Meaning we could make first settler either directly north(on the sheep tile or grass below it) or south (pending how the lay of the land is) to cut off possible paths for enemy scouts. If we are very lucky, there will be some good resources due east where we can have a smorgasbord of good cultivation waiting for our settlers and workers. That's part reason why I suggested 8-7, although it makes for a wasted turn for the scout, but how interesting if we get confirmation on no land further north.

We have encountered our first animal.
I moved the scout NE-SE and we have a lot more room to move.

I didn't move further north since the lay of the and is obvious up there, that we are only people this far north, unless they are east or west of us. It also seems that Team Blame Caledorn got a tech, so they didn't research a religion so it is more than likely they researched The Wheel.

No tech increase by anyone so no one research Meditation first. I would contiue to move towards the east in some sort of direction. It looks like it might get left in the open, but if you are worried, then you could move towards the forest south of us, but move 3-1 (SE-SW) so we can get into the forest. If you move SE(3) and find a line of forest from the one we can see, then obviously it is safe to go into another forest. Should we start planning potential city sites?

Here is a preliminary dot map for potential cities. As you can see with this shot the Lion is next to us so move the scout somewhere safe.

The northern city gets us some luxuries that we can use straight away, so building towards the north looks to be a good idea.
This is to the east of our capital.

Surely there is more in that area than just the cow. I think there will be a metal of some sorts in that area.

The first city below the sheep is good first location. Unless something really awesome is discovered due east/south, pending our scout surviving those lions. Will move 3-1 unless other forest is revealed. 3-3 would be a good move to maximize fogbusting.
With the naming of units, I have forgotten to consider the city names. Shall we keep them original Sumerian or add some French into it as well, or go full tilt on some really funny/outrageous names? I'm all for more fun.
About the hills with the cow due east, is it a good idea to go for BW to get the possible copper revealed ASAP? Chopping forests will be another welcome benefit for our primary BFC.
