A scout. Not great, but not tragic either. I moved the new scout where he is now. New turn. I propose next move as shown on the pic, while the old scout moves like this:


to go generally south-west and search for more huts. This second hut was really close actually. And from Mackoti getting BW the same turn, it seems it was not an incident - there are huts at close distance.

Now I see for the old scout to be way better move 2-1 so he can go 1-1 next turn on the forested hill.

I think we should send the original Scout NE (9?) or N-NE (8-9?) to confirm whether or not we have anyone in that direction. The Coast in the fog to the N of the new Scout suggests that we may have an end of the continent to our NE - IMO it would be good to confirm this, which would allow us to settle aggressively to the SW and backfill later - similarly if the continent does extend that way, we have extra stuff to explore that way.

Yeah, I though about this in the NE - if it is end of the continent or a wide isthmus. And my feelings tells me it is the end of the continent and the goodies (read huts and neighbors) lie west and south-west.

I agree, that is my feeling too ... but I'd hate to play under that assumption and be proven wrong!

The new scout can go 1-2 to start actually moving straight south.

We will uncover quite a few tiles next turn with scout moves on hills and capitol popping borders.

Does this third place in land means that we are 1 of only 3 teams who dont have lake or coast in their capitol initial radius? Interesting.
