Yeah, we voted against Arcane Signalling. I even remember correcting the top section but it looks like we missed the the bottom bit.

Diplo rules:

You will be free to offer whatever sort of trade possible in the trade window you want, whether you mean for it to be real or symbolic is your prerogative. However, you accept the consequences if the other player accepts something you meant as symbolic. Since deciding what counts as a 'real' trade or not is a very fuzzy area to judge, banning unit trades (not in the window anyways) and city trades (now impossible to select into a trade offer) eliminates some of the most swingy options. Players can attempt to collude with the remaining options, again at their own risk of trades actually going through.

Let's have Xenu remove that section so there's no confusion in the future.

We also voted against city trades but it looks like that isn't noted in the first post either. Let's replace

City trades are now disabled by the mod (city names still visible).

You were already reminded by other players in this game about the rules that we set for the game, which included "only real trade deals". Your ignorance of the rules does not mean you did not break them. And I don't care what the opening post says, it's a post that's been copy pasted and edited along the way from game to game, it has rules that contradict each other and it isn't mean to be something that overrides the rules that we voted upon when starting the game.

You already had a trade connection and I have a negative Import-Export, meaning you're getting routes. I get nothing from the routes, if you didn't realize, I was just going out of my way to be nice to you with them. If you just wanted to "knock me for doing AI signalling" (how does this even make sense) why didn't you just take a screenshot of the deal, posted it in your fucking thread, and then call on one of the big crew who like to wag their finger at me whenever I step out of line? Good fucking riddance with your "needless drama" - you're the one causing it all in the first place! What kind of stupid threat is this?

There was no need for any of this bickering and lying and politicking. Could have just cleared things up like adults, had the reload done and moved on with our lives. As far as I'm aware, it was you who first made the offer, it was you who first broke the rules, and I handled the situation as well as anyone could have. There's no way I will give into demands to start deleting my units due to a situation caused by you, nor will I have the patience to listen to your attitude much longer.

YOU caused this situation. YOU accepted the offer that you knew you couldn't accept. you did not handle anything the way you should have an you know it. this isn't your fucking first pitboss game, you knew that offer wasn't for a free city.

in PB21, suttree offered me all of his cities for over a dozen turns straight and never once did I accept the offer just to look around. you accept the first offer thrown at you, one sent out of an attempt at kindness instead of just murdering your fucking unit and nuking your routes, and then try to pin it on ME? Fuck you!

I'll just leave this here, it's the second post from this thread where I admit I didn't follow the setup closely and wasn't entirely sure what rules had passed.

I didn't follow the setup thread closely so everyone please review the posted rules and see if they're more or less what you agreed upon. Also, I need someone to volunteer to be the game admin to (over)rule the players with an iron fist. Or you can have Krill (same thing).

Also, someone needs to arbitrate this situation and I'm not volunteering for it right now. I'm leaving home in a few minutes, my son needs quality time kicking a ball around at the park. I'll abide whatever ruling an admin makes when I've returned.
