I would say if a war is going on, even if it is phony, still stick to the turn split rules.

Well part of the issue is that I'm in a turn split with the Vikings as well. I didn't realize the possible need for a split when I declared on Wannabe but regardless he'd played his turn before me so what could I do? It would be a hell of a lot easier for me if I took the 1st part of the turn instead of him but that would involve him agreeing to let me double move him once, which could be an issue if he wants to use this as an excuse to take my western cities.

I signed up to play a game with a 24 hour turn timer, we're lucky at the moment to get 3 turns a week. Its not much fun to be in a bad situation with no hope of winning but I can deal with that like I did in PB2. However combined with a turn pace that I'm highly dissatisfied with means that I deliberately left my main stack of units to die this turn because I just couldn't be arsed.

Should I just be replaced at this point? I've been seriously considering just declaring war on everyone to encourage them to eliminate my civ and get out this game ASAP.
