[spoilers] OT4E is gonna try something special

The most strange thing I see now is that Nyles has so bad score. He has got conquest and last turn I revealed on of the former dcodea's cities and it is size of 6! But his score is close to Elkad who always seems to be at the bottom of the table. It means he is pressed from the other side. Is it pindicator or somebody else?

Initialy we were spread around the inner lake/sea: me, dcodea, Nyles, pindicator, Stardoors and wetpecac clockwise. So I doubt there could be somebody else I missed. So there must be another lake other players are surrounding.

I decided that those talks about delaying IronWorking take more of my time than actually teching it. Do I really need more wonder hunts to win? Finally that's casual game and I'll do what my hearts calls for. 1 crossbow changes everything when I move to wetpecac, no matter how much axes they have got. 6 trebutchets are done and 2 more are coming soon.



Meanwhile wetpecac got cooper but they do not hurry to build axemen or any other stuff. I will not be surprised if they are working on settler. They have chopped few turns ago but nothing appeared. Let's see.



After I capture it with my hillarius trebutchet/chariot stack I can fully switch on Stardoors. It is not because I am evil, but somewhat his power curve asks for.


On the other side. Nyles wasnt preparing anything against me and it seems I disturbed him a bit, because he had brought 3 axes in his front city.

I wasnt going to threat it by any, I only wish to keep the sentry spot I have taken, but it seems that he wont let me do it despite of sacrifices.
I also found that it wasnt Nyles who got IronWorking but pindicator since iron appeared in his trade screen. Also the both have cooper to cooper deal between each other. Interesting what could that mean. Should I offer cooper to cooper deal to Nyles too?

Terrible situation imho. He was the only one who moved from his starting spot and now he is sandwitched between his powerfull neighbors losing the most part of the inner sea.

I have just realized that I will get kicked from my sentry point if I do not declare war to Nyles/Zalson. Well I put a city which will act as the first bareer between us. Given the fact they see my graphs I doubt they will hope to surprise me.

Wetpecac got some classical tech this turn, which could be HBR. They put it in queue when I had the sight of their research. Interesting if Stardoors spares them horses also, but I never seen him owning any.

Iron appeared in my western city with gems and in wetpecac city. I can hook it next turn and build crossbows in 3.

Wetpecac indeed completed settler. Not sure if it is good or bad for med.

Stardoors has got calendar and it makes me worry. Shall I go for him first? Or it is better to start from wetpecac and prepare for the full scale invasion in Arabian?

Forgot to mention that circumnavigation has gone. It will be a shame if it was Elkad who sold my map and gave it to somebody who got after all. Anyway it hasnt passed to any civ that I know.

1. People started growing GNP, the average of 94 of puts me on the position of backward. At start of the turn I had 91 and was on 7th place. Considering ~40 culture from wonders it is really bad. I am currently earning +120 commerce and spending about 80. The plan is to grow the income to 200, which will require to get 25 new citizens, but it is doable.

2. I got no1 in soldiers. Well, police state is doing it's job. But there is no fearsome army so far, I think trebutchets give too much soldiers and they are not that dangereous. I also build ~10 archers and got Iron Working, both improved my soldier counts without making me too dangereous.

3. 2nd land and 2nd in food are satisfying. I have wide borders but being the first in city count is not my primary priority, I more worry about maintance costs. This map is too rich to plant everywhere thoughtlessly.

4. Somebody is getting close to me in production. Nothing to worry about imho.

5. People on the other lake started trading, may be it has resulted in growing average GNP. Nobody known to me has Alphabet yet.

I moved my army out on wetpecac.


This must be enough. I was basing on assumption that they were only making units, but in fact they only made 1 axe so far and moved some archers to their 2nd city, the city of Beijin. In Beijin it started and in Beijin it will be finished. What an irony!

2 turns to Maths.

My GNP is not very high, but I am not pushing all coasts yet, because I have realised that lighthouses will do me better job in terms of growth.

I will try to save some overflow for HG, but it again can only work in this game where nobody builds wonders. Otherwise too many civs know Maths for so long and they have decent number of cities. Well, no more forecasts, let's just see.

Few words about my goals.

For the soonest future:
- attach wetpecac's piece of land to me
- expand to the west, north-east and deny great spot from Nyles
- grow cities

For the medium-term future:
- get some part of Stardoors and deny the most part of his lands from pindicator
- run GA and switch to Serfdorm and focus on mills

For the long-term future:
- press on Nyles and spread from the south pole to the north

For some reason my neighbors are not doing good. I mean the surviors, of course May be I know more about those but it seems that guys around another lake are doing better except Elkad.

Stardoors is ignoring military and if he doesnt pull himself together during the next 10 turns it will be over for him.

Pindicator got writing after me, so probably he was teching Metal Casting before anything else. I am only sure about Iron though.

Nyles graphs showed awful GNP for financial civ, I cant find out how could be doing that bad. Also he is at the bottom of the score table for a while despite of dcodea's fall.

If I succeed with my goals I will be hardly accessible for those around the other lake and wont have worth competitors around my own. I only need to control pindicator and not let him get the whole Stardoors. Thats why I need to act asap, before people get Hbr and counter my crossbows.

Monotheism has gone on T100. Funny? Yeah.

I met Kim Jong Un. Nothing special except he is having both gems and silver.

Wetpecac's last city was invaded by barbarians. Archer in city was at 1.0 and there was another axe coming. It would be hilarius to let barbs take that city.

I had an idea to use MoM as a culture bomb in the new city in front of Nyles if it is still available ofc. This is risky because my logistics to that area is awful, but the city there will be awesome it has 3 gems, corn, sheep and iron in the city radius. I want to use all the goods right now and I want to get at least 40% soon.
