M3's power is flat; next turn our Quechua gets a peek into Talking Parrot, assuming it's not too late.

If we get to choose the exact location, then yes. I think peace with Q is ok. I'm kinda worried that Trolls will offer long term NAP to Q in exchange for him declaring on us (if he's worried about survival, war with us indefinitely is much more appealing than being steamrolled by the #1 team).

Free land (including his free settler ) for nothing really, except that it gives us a border with Trolls, but we choose a defensible spot. Might want to arrange to be in game when he plays, or as soon as possible afterwards, so that Trolls can't run a 2-mover and raze the city before we have an opportunity to log in and accept. I say we want the city on the hill NW of Wheat. It has to be 1st ring to wheat so his gift flips the culture to us, otherwise we'll never gain control. Planting on that hill is the most defensible site IMO.

I think this means that we push hard for the island, assuming M3 doesn't try invading.

I'm out for at least 4 days. Barely able to cover the PB9 turns. When I messaged Q about the PB9 earlier I took the opportunity to slip in "by the way, since I'm out of town future diplo messages for the demogame should be sent to our team email" and gave him the address.

Frankly I don't think we're enough of a threat to worry about that, we're still are 4th in Food and MFG.

This is exactly why I'm worried that Q would prefer war with us rather than Trolls. Not saying it's likely but it's possible. Anyway, we take the city and probably best to get as much production there as possible. With SPI we could try setting up a whip rotation so that we go Slavery 5 turns, then swap to Caste for the WS bonus until we go back to Slavery again for 5 turns at the next whip cycle.
