[SPOILERS] Team EggHeads: DMOC and TeddyKGB (Now Lurker-Friendly!)

Thanks for the update! goodjob Whipping a barracks in Cornell is fine. Then I hope we can get 3 units (spear, axe, chariot) in three turns, possibly four. goodjob We should probably keep at least one of these around Cornell area in case we don't extend the NAP with India. The axes should go down south, they are needed down there more in the north, as they're really the only thing that can at least fight Praetorians.

With regards to worker actions:

1. We need to continue cottaging/chopping the riverside grassland in Princeton/Cornell/UTAustin Area
2. Should probably finish the road network between Illinois and Princeton
3. Mines should be done near Washington/Austin soon, but we'd like the cows to be improved too.
4. [Minor] Do we want to complete the road connection for those health resources that we already have connections to? That'd just give us 2 or 3 of them, in the event that we lose them. But it's honestly a very minor thing, and I don't think we'll have lots of trading opportunities since no one will need health resources. However, we may want to consider building a road on our other horse resource.

Do we want another worker out of Stanford after worker 12 comes next turn? There's a forest to chop, if we want to use it. Also, is there military police going to UWashington?

Do you have any idea what their tech rate is like? Other than Metal Casting, what Classical techs do they have? Are there tiles in their empire that we can see with an extra hammer, for instance, which would indicate that they have Iron Working? From the trade screen I saw on turn 90, I don't think anyone has Currency yet, is that right? I wonder if anyone is aiming for Aesthetics/Literature.

India does have a high GNP, but how much of that is culture from religion and wonders? Remember that they don't even have an academy, but they do have 13 cities. And Police State as a civic has the following properties:

1. High Upkeep (making it worse for them!)
2. +25% military unit production (will probably be useful)
3. -50% war weariness (probably not that useful to them)

My gut says: turn 140 seems a bit too far for my liking.

It's important because we're right next to India, so we have a huge influence on what they do. If we don't sign NAP then we risk 2 borders being dangerous (and India attacking us if we have to defend against Rome). But then we'll become the laughingstock of Realms Beyond if we just let our neighbor develop in peace. frown

We can't do much dmg now 1vs1 to India.
They had more pop, more MFG, more happy and PS+forges for 50%bonus to units.

We just can't fight ancient war now, as I see it.

Our initial plan was to survive till Catapharcts when we could do some dmg.

Most important news - Orgy finished Currency this turn. They are also has 286gold in treasure atm.
So I suppose there is some failed gold from Mids/HG?

Tao spread in Cheer this turn. Tao spread is much better than Confu (state religion) for Yuufo.
Good it was Tao, hope it will spread to us soon.

We are keep working on Currency - T96.

Chariot cover UWash for happiness. Soon we could whip barracks there and put overflow into Moai.

Borders for Stanford, UC and UT will pop next turn. Cow at UT will be pastured on T95.

I did move some workers to improve deer in Ulllinoise, so we can finish it once city grow size3.
We want some pop in that city in case we had to whip vs Rome.

Some interesting pictures in the mail. As you can see, Rome is 4t away from Math on t92.

I could finish the turn later and post full report.

Looks good. Maybe Orgy did fail on Pyramids/HG. It would be hilarious if they tried to finish Hanging Gardens on the same turn we did. lol (Though with only six cities, last I checked, The Hanging Gardens wouldn't have been a good wonder for them!)

No need for an overly-detailed turn report, I know pretty much what's going on, but are there cities that need to start something new? I.e. I think Stanford finishes up a worker (our twelfth), so we might consider building another one (?). And MIT can continue building military I guess. Put all non-military police stuff in the south, of course.

EDIT: One last thing, are we going to send our scout down south? We could do that (outside chance we can get circumnavigation) or could try and send him to meet the other 2 teams, if only to get extra open borders partners for teams that are non-threats to win the game.

EDIT 2: I'll log into the game soon to check things out, but due to the Thanksgiving break in the U.S., I will be away from my CIV computer from Tuesday through Friday.

EDIT 3: Want to send a message to Team Orgynized asking them for a missionary? We could say:

I took a look into the game (turn 94), but didn't do any worker actions. Some recommendations:

1. Workers H I suggest cottaging the tile 1 south of worker G (who is on a hill and finished his move)
2. The other worker on the same tile as H move south with the other southern worker to road and improve second deer.
3. Worker who fnished chopping in stanford; we have more grassland in stanford that need to be cottaged.

Other comments:

1. Our next Great Person (either a Scientist or an Engineer, most likely a Scientist) will come out of Berkeley in 23 turns. smile
2. Unfortunately, SutOxy got The Mausoleum of Maussollos.

3. Team Orgynized (still at six cities) has 255 gold in the bank.
4. I moved the following units:

I'm not sure if this was your plan, but our scout is protected by Orgynized's warrior, and can go on forest next turn to see where to go. And our warrior can explore the other land down south. MIT is close to finishing an axe so any barbs that appear will not be a problem.

5. We have culture over that tasty village now. According to the Civ4 Wiki, since Taoism is not their state religion, it will not contribute happiness, and will also not contribute to culture! smile

Also, we've got a lot of workers over here, so their micromanagement will be important. For instance, what hills should get roaded or not? And who improves the cows?

Last thing ... we badly need happines. We will rapidly fall behind other teams that have happiness resources.

I think 11 turns gives us enough wiggle room to finish Moai (with one, possibly two whips + 1 chop) and have time for other cities to put fail gold hammers on it.

Shuffle tiles a bit, I'm not sure its right play, but I was maxing some grow/builds.
I'm not sure CM/MIT/Stan on the right config now.

UC/UWash could switch corn if needed.

Military units unmoved, waiting for GG finish turn. Top power grow again, we might not hold UIllinoise after all. Any suggestion how to defend?

I won't be able to log in for about four more days, sorry. frown But it looks like you've made it in time.

UIllinois, not much to say here, I think we just pack axes on the silver tile? I'm not sure if we should put them in the city or on the hill; we might want a mixture because if they get on the hill they can go to the capital.

Also, should we head for Construction after Currency? We badly need more tech (and we don't need more cities now) as DT already have Construction.

I can make more detailed comments later. Would it be okay to have a detailed turn 95 report?
