Mostly the smaller cities that don't really have a lot of production - Coneheads, Deep Thoughts, even More Cowbell

Okay I have marked the cities to whip next turn

* Hanukkah Song, for Heroic Epic (duh)
* Coneheads, for a trireme, which we'll then swap back behind the already completed War Elephant
* Deep Thoughts, for a galley, which again swaps back behind another elephant
* More Cowbell, for a HA
* Toonces, for a HA, which again swaps back in queue behind a third elephant

After next turn, we can re-assess our building plans.

It's somewhat inconvenient that Mrs. Commodore chose today to go into labor, as this is when we're trying to send obscure diplo signals to Commodore! The NERVE of some people.... lol

Good news is that one would think that he wouldn't have left instructions for Gaspar to attack us while Commodore is away (I hope?)

Sounds good for those cities to be whipped. We can debate workers vs specialists in those cities after revolting smile

I remembered at the end of the turn to log back in and offer Gaspar / Commodore the Horse/Iron trade, for 27gpt this turn (down from 28 last time) and with his city of Jubjub (the other one that borders Yuri.

We revised our goal for a total (non-garrison) military composition on T190. Basically in the interest of actually accomplishing this, we eliminated the slow-mover Yuri strike force, while slightly beefing up the miscellaneous Yuri needs, Operation Funyun and the Krill-side folks

* Main Yuri strike force - 30 knights + 10 horse archers (1 sentry)
* Operation Funyun - 2 triremes, 3 galleys + 6 elephants
* Miscellaneous Yuri needs - 2 longbows + 2 xbows + 3 cats + 2 spies + 3 galleys (for ferrying troops)
* Krill-side keep'em honest force - 1 longbow + 2 eles + 2 xbow + 12 cats + 2 knights + 5 HA

Total
32 knights (90h)
15 horse archers (50h)
4 xbows (60)
8 elephants (60)
15 catapults (50)
3 longbows (50)
2 triremes (50)
6 galleys (50)
2 spies (40)
2 stables (50) - Blues Brothers and Hanukkah Song
1 barracks (50) - OTOF

We currently have 3 galleys and 1 catapult. After our whip fest, we have slated for completion at end of turn (or already completed but waiting behind things in the queue) an additional 2 HA, 1 trireme, 3 WE, 1 stable, and 1 galley. So not including the knights, we still need 2420 hammers in the next 25 turns. That's less than 100 hpt, which is nice, since it may actually be doable lol

The question then becomes whether we want to spend those extra hammers on some infra (more temples and maybe courthouses) or additional troops. We can't really add much more to the Yuri strike force unless we want to resurrect a slow-mover force and/or add to Operation Funyun, since those units are mostly knights that will have to be done post-Guilds. Or we could put those into some troops to keep Krill (or Commodore?) honest.

I have looked around at the save but haven't played it yet. I will play it tomorrow - ideally I want to be last to play when we revolt

2 things to note in this picture

First, Yuri is about to settle another (pretty worthless?) city here - I would assume on the tile that the worker is chopping. Naturally it's on flatland lol He has been founding quite a few new cities lately, so I'm going to give him the benefit of the doubt and say that he has already put cities on those islands to his west. If not, those would be WAY better cities than this one.

The other thing is with the missionary spread into TGR, its borders will pop in 3t. I was looking at that, and realized how completely and totally awesome it would be if there was a 1-3 tile island in the brown fogged area.

Not only because that would give us another city to found (Nat X?), but that would revive Operation Funyun. If we were feeling extra slick, we could even not found the city till T-4 (with a missionary), so that Yuri would not even see the borders of our city until the very turn we attacked. Then on the magic turn, our borders pop into the ocean tiles, allowing us to strike (reclaim!) Inferno Island.

Of course, since the RNG hates us, we gotta figure the mapmaker does too, so there will be nothing there but ocean.... lol

Yeah I know. In comparison, Krill is at 101, Yuri is 163, and Scooter is about 254 alright

Alrighty then. I logged in to play T164. I whipped those 5 cities, and then made the big revolt. As discussed, we went from Slavery and Organized Religion to Caste System and Theocracy.

Before revolt (but after all those whips):
126 hpt, 166 breakeven bpt

After revolt:
(well, I just realized I can't check because we're in revolt lol So I'll post on those next turn when we come out)
