[SPOILERS] Catherine of China

That is a weird river fork.

SE NE?

Also, have we asked Warlord if he's bumped into anyone else?

SE-NE possibly. Final desicion has to be made after moving.

We've no open communication channel to WarrlordDR. I've sent private message and was accidentally logged in with him couple of days ago and I gave him my email address, but he hasn't made any effort to communicate. I'll send him a in game message that contains my contact info yet again.

When I was logged in I noticed that he has moved a warrior to his Deer tile. This was pretty much what I expected to happen.

The stupid part of me desires to go NE and run around in his forests and force him to get a 2nd warrior to cover his worker and capitol but like I said dumb.

The problem is that he is probably already building his 2nd warrior while growing to size 2 using the improved deer. That is at least what I would be doing, if I were him.

There are so many easy hammers in the capital, that we can't do much with a lone warrior. Our only really annoying tile to take would have been the deer tile. That would have caused him to spam some extra warriors.

Not any kind of reaction from warlord. He moved both scout and warrior to deer tile that I find pretty strange. Odds of attacking that warrior would have been terrible.

Because of Warlord ignoring us, I think we need to consider, if some of our plans needs to be changed. Short term we've 3 options for ;-) : Continue as planned towards east, Declare and hopefully force some kind of delay to his plans or retreat and place our warrior as sentry between us to see what is coming there. If we continue as is I think we need to build an extra warrior and send him towards Warlord to see what he sends towards us.

We should plant our cities on safe spots and with sufficient Garrison. Agressive settling is also on option, but so far my plans have been to go with short number of workers until T40 that makes it pretty unprofitable to settle when we can't improve the land. New tests with more focus on workers are probably needed.

Middle term we probably should focus main effort on building sufficient defenses and agrresive settling unless he does it before us.

Turn flipped and scout is ready. I didn't yet move anything, but I think I'll go on with original plan for ;-) and build the extra warrior for sentry purposes.

I decided to continue pretty much as planned. Warrior continues towards east and I did send our scout towards west. Warlord is using his scout to follow our warrior. They're now in the same tile. I'll produce extra warrior before setller to be used in between us.

I'd say go Easterly and find his neighbors. We can broker some kinda of deal for his land and cities if Warlord stays silent and the hypothetical civ east of him is agreeable to some sort of plan. While its not really good Casus belli, I think don't think anyone will be willing to work long term with someone making a minimal effort at diplo.nono

Of course things may change, I rather just play normal and commit to a course of action later. We don't know if we can get anything worthwhile out of Warlord by delaying his plans without the ability to actually cripple him. Additionally we don't want him to go crying to an adjacent civ and complaining we did something to him, we should rather want him to stay quiet to everyone.

I agree. Let's continue towards east then and hope to find someone more talkative.
