My only objection is to city which is planned to be located South - 1 tile East from capital - I'd like it straight South near crab instead ... less overlapping with second, gold + fish + ivory city.

What's your opinion on this issue ?

Ok, lets look at the differences,

My site:
Grass Hill (shared)
Plains gold hill (shared)
Grass forest (shared)
Plains forest (shared)
Coast

Your site:
2 x coast
coast (shared)
2 x ocean


Given oceans tiles are pretty much useless you gain 1 extra coast tile for the city, To be honest I prefer the flexibility with the overlap being able to work other cities tiles (esp. cottages).

That said either of the sites is still the worst on our island, hence last to be settled, so we havea while to decide yet

Maybe we will settle our fourth city on the island/continent nearby instead on our initial island - no ?
