When I sent the first save along, I immediately checked the tracker to see if everything was working correctly; it said I still had the save. I refreshed it once or twice and it updated to say Azza had the save. Since the save was supposed to go to Sareln, I posted here to see if everything was okay; Sareln said he got it fine. The only thing I can think of is that I don't send the saves from within the game like it always tells me I can if I input my email and some server thingy; I go to gmail and compose a new message with the save as an attachment. I always send it to the central mail account. So I don't know what I could be doing wrong. The only exceptional thing about my saves is that they are the last of each round; maybe that does something with the tracker's record-keeping?
In that particular instance I received and played the save inside about a minute.

Wow. Okay, that explains that. I'm always so freaked out that I'll mess something up (even though there's not much to do besides press enter!) that I take my time at it (I also take screenshots for my thread). In single-player, if I intend to do something and forget, I can just reload the save (I save every turn). I can't do that here!

I am exactly the same way. Mostly because I swear I misclick more than anyone else on the planet. (Either that or Murphy wants me to attack with Medic promoted units more often. Just for the lulz. )
Anyways, I also just send an email with attachment rather than use Civ's built-in stuff, exactly the same way, and the tracker instantly updates and says the save's in Fintourist's hands each time I do so. I just think there's just something screwy about the tracker w/r/t turn rollover.
It's there to MESS WITH YOUR HEAD, maaan.
EDIT: Oh, yeah, and Fintourist is up right now. Has been for a while, but I couldn't post at the time.

Yeah, misclicks too; I hate that!
I don't mind the tracker trying to mess with my head - I have more than one of them I can devote to this, after all! (A vain part of me wishes there were a hydra smiley.)
By the way, I hope this isn't against some rule to say this, but you guys who are on the Animal team in the Demogame, we'd really appreciate it if you came and gave us some advice sometime soon ... not trying to lay a guilt trip, it's totally fine if you found it's not your thing or you just prefer watching; it's just that my mind is exploding with some important decisions we have to make soon - just wait till you see the doozy of a post I just made in the discussion thread!

Steps have now been taken to ensure that this does not happen again, or at least would be highly improbable.
I may also try poking at the built-in mail sending system in Civ4. Have basically ignored it so far because it doesn't appear to allow for SMTP servers that require a password.

Oh, by the way. Fin: can I presume that your pestering me about the proper save means that your forwarding setup is all working now and so I don't need to worry about maybe or maybe not posting here when my turn's done?

No you can't But I finally managed to fix it today (Wasn't that difficult..)
Anyways, I played already, and Hydra is on. Maybe we get a quick round of moves today.
EDIT: Just to state it clearly, we don't have to spam this thread anymore because the lack of my incapabilities.
