This is pretty much what Rowain has been doing though, so I am surprised the two of you would be fighting.

I would support this. Let's lynch whoever has the most votes at some agreed-upon time Friday if we don't have a majority on a player before then.
I think this set up (obviously) makes it easy to casually toss votes around when someone only has a few on them, and very difficult to be the person to cast a deciding vote. What little experience I have in WW was almost all spent as a wolf, and thinking now as I did back in WW1, were I a space wolf in this game I'd be very wary of casting the deciding vote on anyone except maybe on the first day or two, when everyone is still relatively clueless, and the final day, when there's no longer any need for subtlety. That doesn't mean a SCUM will never do it, of course, but there is a significant amount of risk involved.

Indeed.

Too true. But for this night I keep my vote where it is now. tomorrow we will see. Afterall that are some hours time for Sareln to write his 'opus magnum'
@bob & Injera. I'm against changing the rules after gamestart. The chances for a neverending day 1 were known before. TOur GM has decided to go with out dedline so I think we have to decide and lynch someone. A bit like a Jury but at least we can lynch with 50%.

But, but, I have a drink to finish here to drown my sorrows about my latest PBEM loss
We've gotta kill someone to get this moving, but no-one is sticking out to me. I know I'm innocent so worse comes to worse I know I can defend on Day 2 if Winston Hughes isn't SCUM.

Oh, I agree we should not (and can't!) change the rules. What I'm suggesting is that if the village can't agree on a lynch target we get a group of 6 people together to agree to vote for the highest vote target (even if it's not their first choice) in order to keep the game moving. It wouldn't be a binding thing, of course, and I wouldn't expect anyone to vote for someone they believe to be an almost certain mislynch.
Like I said above, though, I'm not suggesting we do this now. It's just an option if it really does seem like the day is never going to end.

Whew that was close....
I almost made a post about putting Winston Hughes at 5 votes to up the drama...
But I decided that wouldn't be cool as this is Winston Hughes first game and I wouldn't want him to get lynched day 1 of a new game
Good thing I stopped and avoided the cross post with Sareln.
