Just speculatively... looks like a city right where that scout is gets 8 forests BFC... figure you cache one on a monument, then that's 210/250 hammers for the mids right there...

2W -> 1NW was what I was thinking. It would be great to have a full 360 degree radial view for both copper-spotting and sandboxing purposes just in time for BW. I think we could make a really solid and rigid plan via sims with that, the true advantage that hunting gives us that few other civs in this game will have.

Was going to point out that Stone only gives +50%, then remembered that we're Industrious too. Duh.

Nice thought on the Pyramids city, definitely worth considering.

2W -> 1NW sounds good for the Scout's next 2 moves. Definitely appreciating the fact that Hunting lets our Scout explore so much more quickly than most other nations.

Heh... well at least we're on a forested hill. I think we should still have a decent chance of survival, unless there's a third wolf hidden 2W or 2N in the fog.

BW is in, but Copper is nowhere quite convenient. Where should we settle? I have to go soon but I'll post some thoughts later.

I'd like to know what's to the west of the Scout ASAP. If we can grab Copper with Silver, that would be amazing. Unlikely, but worth checking just in case.

Think it's a bit risky to bait the Lion, and there'll be no shortage of animals to get that 4th XP on Emperor. So I vote for just exploring to the west for now.

Yeah, that seems very unlikely, but lets check it out. We don't have too much longer for animals, btw; don't forget this is Emperor difficulty, and animals are replaced with warriors and archers much earlier. But, we can check out the west first.
