That corn is great news. Pig + corn is a very nice second city. I say we us the next scout moves to reveal all the area around there, so we can choose the best placement for the second city.

So, let's not build cottages, survive on resource commerce and gun for workshop spam?
1E, 1SE as next scout move?

Is the micro right? We could complete the warrior in one turn with this same tile configuration, but I'm guessing that's not worth it/spoils the following micro.
HUT! You should pop this one, retep, because I'm not lucky enough. And a pretty decent city spot, somewhere in this vicinity.

Yeah later we finish the warrior with enough overflow to finish the setler exactly.
About the hut it depends where the lion moves
So where do you think should the second city go?

Since our north is a dead end, I don't think we should expand there anytime soon, only if we need for a strategic resource.
My initial gut is 1NW (or 1W) or 1SE of the pigs. Reason being that I want a 2 food resource second city, without the need of border pops, which will take way too long in these settings.
The city 1SE of pigs seems to fit better in the following dot map, since it enables a city 1W of the stone, which has 3 strong resource tiles (and 2 of them already inside borders, if we settle it as a 3rd city). And that's be a city to rush the Mids in, if we ever wanted one... Or another stone wonder, for that natter. Stonehenge would be perfect, but it's probably already built a long time before that.

Retep, do something, we are almost at last place!!
What's your take on the second city, by the way?
I need a sandbox to properly sim things, because I'm bad with spreadsheets. So, I'll work on something to stop being so useless. It's holiday this weekend in Brazil, due to our Independence Day, so i'll have the time. (imagine it's the Brazilian flag and an Arara Azul in front of it).

I played the turn. Lion moved next to the hut, but lions are now strenght 1 and scouts have +200% against animals, so we won't lose. Then, the villagers gave me XP!!!!
Wood II scout, anyone??

That was my hut you fiend!
Man, experience was the worst posible result Also I should tel you I have never beat a barb animal in my last 4 games
As a second city, I was thinking 3W of the capital just al the happy to grow to max size with full cottages. Or maybe the black dot between the pig and corn, or the one you suggested taking pig and corn. There all seems fine to me.
You can probably get a free new sandbox if you asked Joey/Brick after all they make the first sandbox

I could make you a new sandbox, do you just want it with the size corrected? if you've updated it as you've explored the map, you should post that though b/c otherwise its gonna be of your starting BFC agian. (but this time in an empty 100x80 sea of despair)
