Also, I am happy to go the claim game if people want, but I doubt there are two of each program. If only because 2 successful use of that 'were any scum involved in this vote' could be used to triangulate and win the game instantly. I am basicalyl certain we don't have two copies of that power.

Lots of things can apparently "win the game instantly" in this setup. Scum A gets caught by a background check while scum B gets caught by a watcher, etc. I don't think two sensors are out of the question. But if we do have two, then scum probably have some sort of anti-sensor capability, too. Otherwise it would indeed be too powerful.

Brick is playing the clueless card, which I think is a null tell. I'd want more from him when he has the time though.

I think Brick's passivity is in itself a slight scum tell, just because it makes it that much easier for him to avoid sticking his foot in the mouth. On the other hand, his tone seems natural and he hasn't stuck his foot in the mouth.

To be honest, these do not seem like particularly burning questions, Bacchus. But here goes: I was trying out my new avatar in that first post. My next order of business would probably have been to look at the player list and vote for somebody, but I guess I got distracted or something. In any case, by the time I was ready to post again, I was already under attack by Serdoa. And at that point I still hadn't looked at the player list, because I was surprised to discover that he was in the game. By reciprocate you mean why I voted for Serdoa? Because he was attacking me with weak arguments. I thought it was worthy of a revenge vote.

This and later essentially say "I'm checked out, or acting checked out". Non-town, but also not really the usual scum zak. Others are more interesting for now.

Anyway, my overall impression of Bacchus is positive, I'm just pointing out the negatives that I see.

I thought both Serdoa and Zak (after (over)correcting for bias) came out of their tete-a-tete looking slightly scummier than coming into it, and I didn't particularly feel like picking a side.

At any rate, I don't find Zak's posts wormy, that was me taking a stab at what Bacchus might find scummy about Zak

This is nothing but testing waters on self-admittedly low-priority targets (me), cosying up to Lewwyn and self-clearing. Novice says he hoped for more fishing with his supposed breadcrumb, but fishing for what exactly? Agreeing with Lewwyn is a null tell, as pointed out. If novice was uncertain whether making a clear statement on the number of abilities in response to Lewwyn was the right thing to do, why not just say so? Finally, why would you even start claiming town points for yourself at this stage without any pressure? I would understand it if novice was fighting a mislynch, but there isn't one on the horizon.

This is a good pick-up by Rowain, even if he is just defending himself. Serdoa's continuing logic, not quoted by Rowain is:

I think what he suspects is just the opposite — that having more abilities is true for the neutral party as well, and that suspicion accidentally came out as erroneous statement of fact. The question is, did Serdoa assume that Rowain has more than 4 because Serdoa knows scum have more than four, or simply because it's a reasonable assumption that scum are more power-endowed.

My problem with you Rowain, is that you voted Novice initially as a joke vote. But you haven't actually pointed to anything in his play you consider scummy.

But you have attacked Serdoa several times, but you didn't follow that up with a vote. So, just from reading your posts without knowing yoru mind, it looks like you are suspicious of Serdoa but you don't think him worthy of a vote over joke-vote Novice. It doesn't feel right to the Glum.

Not quite sure what you're asking here. To be clear, my breadcrumb wasn't a fishing attempt. The fishing attempt would be saying nothing and seeing how people reacted to Lewwyn's statement. The breadcrumb was an attempt to say nothing but still collect town points for myself by acknowledging that Lewwyn had dropped a town tell.

See above. It would be the right thing to do to collect town points, and the wrong thing to do to catch scum slipping up.

Why shouldn't I? Scum hunting by identifying townies is very powerful. I realize my breadcrumb may not be convincing, but I considered it worth a try. And for the record, while I'm not too worried about getting lynched, I've been leading the vote tally most of the day.
