Yep, because I was sorely mistaken about the location of this crap.

One tech from knights, then one more from carracks...

Golden age begun. As this is an ISO1337 compatible Realms Beyond thread, I am obliged to show the capital and the Moai city. Hey, it's the same city here. Eng101

Why yes, that is us being just a few beakers away from finishing Guilds in just two turns. No, we're not pushing it.

As we're not exactly overblessed with food, there's not some kind of vast empire-wide great person push, but I think we're either back into slavery or more likely over to serfdom by the end of this golden age, so this Caste jaunt is how we ensure the next golden age isn't infinity turns away. Mingo Bay will slowly plug away at a Great Scientist or Engineer; Fole Keep gets hungry making a Great Merchant.

Deers and a lake. Man this feels like PB5 sometimes.

I wasn't joking around. There's not really a path of economy that works for winning the game; more land is how this happens. More land and coast, to the point. Portugal with the Colossus and Magellan's means we have a 4-move overseas transport without gutting our coast-based economy; loaded with swords and knights (5xp both cases) we have an excellent strike option for overseas reaches. We're coming for that coastal capital, Mackoti! Heysexy

It's beginning. Target numbers are 20 knights and 10 carracks (cheaply upgraded from triremes), plus a handful of galleys and swords. Target still not assured, but I have ranked them.

1. Pindicator. Mad at him for checking out in battle with 2mn rather than splitting TBS, but eh. He's weak and completely open for 4-move-carrack rampage.
2. OT4E, taking his southern coast. Doable but he's mobilized and then we have a nice new chunk of land right near OH and Mack.
3. Old Harry...I think Mack is chugging up to Lib Astro, so OH might be soon vulnerable from all sides. He's a rich prize...but powerful and engaged.
4. TBS has maces, a bigger empire, and crummy positioning (core coast east). Pin wouldn't help.
5. Mackoti. Because lols.

Rush? Turn 140 Guilds ain't no rush. We're first to knights, but half the other guys have maces...a proper knight rush crumples into spears.

Dtay, care to take a moment on logistics? I've been downright unprofessional here.

Anyway. Before the epic twenty-nine whips in spite response rolleye...

I am staging two strikes; I hopped in while TBS was playing but he's also massing maces/trebs to hit Pin and I'm fairly certain I'll need to smash him to retain my gains, so I left until TBS was finished with his turn too. The island hit was just light brushing; two swords and two knights in these galleys; with more to follow.

One axe dead, moving on...

The main thrust is on the mainland, that's where our nine carracks are pushing hardest. O'Malley isn't ideal, but it's our ingress.

One archer, one axe, splat.

Here's where we sat at the end of turn. Fiorina is toast, of course, but that's not the main goal; Drumpf and everything to its south in the mainland is the aim. Let 2mn sweep the lower isles and TBS crunch into the northern stuff, but we're aiming at the core or bust.

All of this mooted in the ragequit scenario, of course. If Old Harry peaces out with Mack we might as well concede to the Mackening anyway, though.
