Is that character a variant? (I just love getting asked that in channel.) - Charis

WW 45: Lurkey Lurking

I didn't misspeak. I changed my mind.

Apology not accepted. That was needlessly aggressive.

It is common practice on many sites to require PMs, and it's something I'm quite strongly for.

Game ends is 70m. If you have any unspoiled comments to make, now is the time.

I wouldn't have apologized if I knew that you thought it was a good idea to make players wait if one of them missed by a minute. I'd would have stayed silent. I don't care that much about the PM requirement.

I don't think this can go anywhere but down, and I'm retiring anyway, so I'll let you have the last attack if you feel like it.

It was not a clearing post at all. I would have made the same post as scum as I don't like a GM changing a rule midway.

I think this was the game I found hardest to keep my cool in for years, and I would put that down to the stress of the nominated lynches.

I agree.

@Jabbz: Getting misunderstood is one thing but getting continuously attacked although other players also told the attacker that he is wrong like happened here is extremely annoying.
Scum has done this to me in a previous game for some days just to annoy me. Constantly talking about how I attack you when I haven't even voted for you and using that as an excuse to selfvote was in the end too much. Having the deadline at (for me) 9 AM was not really helping.

I'm sorry for the harsh language.

(The idea that I as scum would prefer to lynch an absent townie over getting him modkilled still baffles me.)

This is good to hear.

I worry that the next game might be similarly frustrating, as you're encouraged to kill those you like. Thoughts?

I'm not going to play that game, partly for that reason yes. I think it sounds unfun, I have to say. But also I don't really have time for another one immediately.

I disagree here. In that game you have to remove those you like to win. So choosing them enhances your winning with them which (IMO) is decidedly different then being forced to lynch someone you like as a step towards losing the game.
