I guess I just need to know a) if you are interested in coming up with a plan in the next 24HRs, or b) not. That way I can reply to the many requests .

Darrell,
Sorry, I thought this had evolved to us defending Byzantium. Are we talking a plan to attack Krill?
If the plan is to defend Byzantium, then I suggest:
1) All CUDDLE gets sentry nets out to give them 2-3 turn warning of any attacks.
2) Civs near Byzantium send what they can, especially more flexible 2-movers.
3) Civs further away build cats, which have a long shelf life.

Its a comprehensive military plan of CUDDLE towards PAT, including defending Byzantium, and possible offensive actions if they make sense.

Turn updates: Pacal (Mr Nice Guy), Pericles (Kyan), Ragnar (Manicat marshall), Surya (cyneheard) and Huayne Capac (Swiss, researcher) has literature. aka: no great library for us .
My guess is that our cheeky Swiss friend will land said wonder. But I whipped the library anyway. What else could we use the chops for? Pyramids? Heroic epic? Lots of horse archers?
We now have trade routes with portugal, ruff hi (aztecs) and carthage. Meanwhile Krill (Havelock, egypt) has closed borders with us.
Mechanical bull started a courthouse, will whip it to completion.
Our buddhist missionary is unused - I don't know the plan for him.

Where do we want the Epics?
And I think we should chop with the workers this turn, and make sure to cancel them.
If nobody lands the GL on the interturn (which is unlikely IMO), then we can chop them next turn and at least get a 50/50 shot at it

They have already chopped. Where we want the epics depends on if we land TGL. If no GL, then I think we want HE in Bison burgers. If we do get GL, then NE in bison burgers and HE in THe Dance Floor.
Why do you think it is unlikely TGL will land on the interturn? I think it will be built.

I'm with you. I think it's likely that TGL will fall this turn. But in the unlikely scenario that it's still there, we can chop again next turn and take the 50/50 shot.

I say that if TGL falls on the interturn we should put the hammers into the heroic epic and crank out military to go bash someone.

Hard to bash anyone when we're still geographcially far away and the tech path went so fast.
Carthage researched Civil Service this turn and has passed it around. So they'll be able to field maces within the next few turns I'm sure. Nothing we can produce now can handle maces.

Right, but we can snipe cities off. Basically it's a question of whether we want to loose stacks of horse archers to kill a city or not.

Had a look at the military units, but most had already been moved.
One potential strike on Krill:
Basically the plains hill tile at Lancre prevents 1-move attacks before Engineering. However if the cultural borders shown are accurate it looks like we can move to "2" and possibly draw Krill's army into Lancre (because we can hit the city in 1t from "2." If that happened then 6 fast workers can get HAs to "3b" and Krill can only hit those units with 2movers from Lancre.
Anyways, not aperfect plan thanks to very imperfect scouting, but it may be worth thinking about. As I discussed with Darrell via chat I think the best way to divide the burden here is for the distant civs to build wealth rather than units or infra which the civs in our neighborhood contribute a total of 15 HAs (including us). If everyone wants to make units though they should all send 3-4 HAs. Yes slamming into Holy cities with HAs is tough, but trying to split Krill's army seems like our best shot to take out that Hindu city cheaply...marching in 1movers versus Maces is even worse.
