Ouch, that IS hard.

Any hope you can settle (and keep) the Iron site ?

No, Dantski deleted the chariot before I could get a screenshot. But they had an axe, spear, 2 workers 1sw of city site. Plus the axe 2S of city site that killed our warrior. So I think we should settle for horses, possibly even on them this turn and start chopping HAs in all our cities. Problem is that axe is rather close to horse city.

How embarrassing. Turns out people can't even read public player thread until they have all contacts. bang Silly rule making my post a pointless post. Don't exactly feel like sending out a mass email saying the same thing though.

We ended up founding 1S of horses with axes due t78 and t79. Rome will pillage our cows this turn as [strike]we[/strike] Dantski screwed up zone defending with chariot and Ottomans don't want to get involved.

Put it in Email and Tech thread. This may not be the right place, but better than doing a mass email....

Just realized we are probably going to lose horse city. Don't think there's any way we can get axes there in time.

Rome could have 2axes and a spear attacking it beginning of t77 if they have 4 workers roading from T75. Plus they could add to that force from Sandograd's garrison.

We can have 0 defenders there beginning of t77, except for a chariot mb. 2 axes there beginning of t78 then we can add another axe t79. Without any promotions and with our first cultural bonus on t80 that still won't be enough.

Whoops, time to delete that taunting post in public player thread or it could become even more embarrassing. We really need help from some of our allies but I don't think we are going to get any.

Well I guess we'll find out beginning of next turn. We can add a spear from Llancarfan as it's not really needed there for happiness. It can arrive second half of t78. This would give us 3 axes, 1 spear, 1 chariot defending beginning of t79. I'm still doubtful we'll last that long.

It's really been a comedy of errors on our side since t65. And for a change they were all mine.

No idea why I didn't accept peace with Yaz. That was incredibly dumb, could have got a worker for nothing and not be giving away a settler (double dumb).

We screwed around moving our settler back and forth. Originally it could have settled horse city t71? or was it t72. In any case by the time Rome could have attacked it (t79) we would have had a border pop and 5 chopped axes defending.

Anyway, best not to dwell. But this probably explains the lack of lurker interest as it's just embarrassing to watch now.

I guess it's time for me to bench and tag Dantski in to pull us out of this mess. Yeah I mixed your sports up. I'm Australian.

Well we're doing well in demographics and remember krills reaction when we told him how many workers we had?

With Monarchy + Construction coming in soon, we'll be in great shape soon.

Incidentally I figure Rome has been discussing attacking Madrigal in their thread, we'll have enough to defend it and a few turns later be able to clear them out if they linger

Small rant

Exactly whats the point of splitting turns if Rome can login after we've played on the same turn and then whip or do other actions? I saw they settled a city after we'd ended turn.

I just think it makes a complete mockery of the turn split and goes back to "whoever can login most often has an advantage"
