Sorry. Had a very busy weekend and so had the five minutes to play the turns but no time to report them. I'll play my turn for today now then report the three turns.

Turn 14 Report
Worker (Dobby) completes Mine.

Our Scout continues his path to explore the lands to the south of Hogwarts. There was a definite micro mistake made this turn as the Scout should have moved onto the Wines tile given that he cannot move any further than the hill next turn anyways. Oh well. Meanwhile, per the micro plan we now switch from working the unimproved Elephants to working the Grassland Mine in order to accelerate the Work Boat, as well as conviniently having Hogwarts grow to Size 2 on the same turn.

A look at the Demos. The biggest thing to note is that we are the only Civ not growing quickly at this point (Rival Worst is at 8 Food). (Screenshot mistakenly taken before swapping tiles worked). Alhazard also grows his Capital to Size 2.

Turn 15 Report

The Scout moves onto the hill as he continues to scout our surroundings, and realizes that it's now likely that we do not in fact have backline territory to the south. The discovery of dyes is also a nice plus, being a happiness resource that is hopefully ours to claim, depending on how close our neighbour is. Back home, our Worker (Dobby) moves to the other Grassland Hill besides Hogwarts.

Turn 16 Report

Our Scout continues to explore as it now becomes quite clear that there is a lot of land in both directions. Ideally, though, the range of Mountains our Scout has just found will make a natural border formation and allow us to claim all the lands to between the Mountain range and Hogwarts. Next turn, I plan on moving NW-NE to loop back towards the Capital, since we need vision on the areas close to our start. It would also be nice to get our Scout back to the north so we can see what is in and around the full BFC of our potential Red Dot location. Back home, Dobby begins to Mine the Hill.

Last but not least, a full overview of our southern lands, complete with Resource icons.

It would be nice, but I do not think a priority. Location itself seems solid and unlikely to be moved. Direct surrounding (as in: next location north) may be well scouted by the first Dog protector (who shouldn't go too far though). Any resource missed by Red would go to that city.
I personally think detailed scouting of SouthEast is in order - especially as no other civ was encontered in this direction so far! Perhaps there will be no race/contest for cities of 2nd ring, too (at lest fist ones)?
(unless You still contemplate 2nd wave to go N/NW, including Pink)

Depending on actual plant locations, it may be possible - taking into account long distances from opponents especially.
A half-crazy plan may be:
Red->Purple
2 cites S/SE of Purple (making Gems location a backfill)
NRed->Pink-> N of Orange (leaving Orange as backfill)
This plan (especialy second part of leaving Orange for later) has serious drawback of defensive difficulties. But Phase One (hopping over Gems) should be doable without much problems. Of course this would mean not working Gems for now...

EDIT: In general there are opponents in all directions, so natural backfill would probably not happen. But combination of aggressive settling and using terrain features may be enough to create a few sites.

Turn 17 Report (3320 BC)

Our Scout, having peeked past the range of Southern Mountains, returns to the Northern side as he starts to finally return home to Hogwarts. Much to our great surprise, he found a field full of Cows not far from the southern gems!

Continuing on his way north, our Scout heads back the cows into the woods, and wow! Jackpot!

We have a very solid production site here that is able to bring in 19 hammers at Size 7 without the need for any farms, while still maintaining the ability for some commerce longterm with the Gems and 5 Grassland tiles for cottaging.

Here's an overview of the explored territory thus far.

Turn 19 Report (3240 BC)

Dobby (Worker) finishes Grassland Mine.
Hogwarts finishes a Work Boat. Begins work on a Worker.
Workboat nets the Fishes.

Our house-elf helper worked tirelessly for most of the last two centuries and has therefore finished a second Mine near Hogwarts. Meanwhile, the fishing team sets up a set of nets to help catch the Fish off the coast. Our Scout moves onto the hill with the pigs and defogs the last bit of land in the area of Hogwarts, not finding much of value.
