After the southern cities are captured I don't suppose Krill with take a peace deal. I'll probably have to wait and consolidate my army into one huge stack to blast through Krill's final cities. I'll start considering my options and counting forces in the upcoming turns. War Wariness is getting to -3 happy in the capital and my bigger cities so it's starting to hurt. 10 turns of peace would make this wear off somewhat, and also sine my production capacity now vastly outpaces Krill I'd gain much more from the peace.

Now that AT's culture is down I do have the ability for the eternal standoff where Krill can't approach my stack either.

Question: is it possible to spy-pillage tiles in neutral territory?

Don't know.
I don't think WW decays much really - I'm thinking 1% per turn in peacetime.

My understanding is that the effects are not felt during peace time. Even if the decrease isn't substantial, those 10 turns without its effects would be nice. It'll likely take us 10 turns to consolidate anyway. I highly doubt that Krill will give peace though. He has little to gain ... unless he thinks he can reclaim something from Bigger, but Bigger will have cannon coming into play quickly as well.

No you're right it doesn't have any effect during peacetime. I agree peace is in our favor, but doubt that we'll get it.

I've been musing over the giant map stitch. The biggest thing I've noticed is Commodore's extreme vulnerability to naval invasion.

With the Drydocks I can build 10XP ships from Porcupine. That's Nav_2 galleons and C3 Frigates right out of the harbor. Nav_2 + circumnav = 7-move galleons. Commodore could also produce these types of ships fairly easily because he's had a couple GG's spawned against 2metra and he also could build drydocks. The difference is that only Doughnut can be hit in the core. Then new AT cities are exposed navally, but if Commodore exerts considerable pressure in that direction we can counter by attacking towards his core in the east.

Commodore's land also wouldn't really another exposed front either. Jowy isn't a threat, and I already have a front on the east with 2metra. I think Commodore will be next after AT in about 30 turns. I have to get the "AT Annex" productive first before moving my army away so that I don't immediately lose it like I lost Azzaland cry

I've heard Commodore pretty much always makes super units with his GGs - from NH in PB8 IIRC.
Also, once we finish the curent push against Krill, should we consider refounding the city 4E 1N of Potos Valley, so as to get new production in that area?

Oh, right. I've seen a galley with GG (that's why that Caravel stays where he is in that sea between us). I'm pretty sure I saw a morale knight too at some point, but I haven't had vision on that in a long time. That actually may have been 2metra's because they were both moving in at the same time.

That city is a possibility, but right now the priority is to claim AT's newly-opening land in the west. I have 2 forward city spots planned and both wanted ASAP. I also have a couple backfill spots over there in the prior DMZ between us and AT. After than maybe, although postos is taking much of the good tiles and making great use of the Rice already.

A thought just occurred to me ... do my at-times frequent logins make people reluctant to play near the beginning of the timer? Extraneous logins almost always prompted by the desire for screenshots in planning phases. I the war splits I like to login and take pictures after my opponent has played so that I can think over my strategy before actually getting in game to play the turn (if it hasn't rolled yet).

No need to give names, but if you've noticed this sentiment in any of the threads let me know and in the interest of speeding up the turns I'll resist the urge to login except when I go to play the turn.

EDIT: I'll just say in the tech thread that from this point forward I'll limit extraneous logins.
