We are going to run it without a pause until near the end of the next turn. If he hasn't logged in (or been replaced) by then, we will pause the game.
Alright.
If someone could pause the game, we have a potential unspoiled replacement for WarlordDr. If we haven't heard from WarlordDr by the end of the day, he is going to be replaced. And by heard from, I don't just mean showing up in game. WarlordDr, I expect you to send me a PM explaining your absence and to make some reasonable assurances that this will not happen again. So a pause should go into effect immediately, that way if we replace WarlordDr, we do so with minimum long term effect on the game. regoarrarr Wrote:LP - is there a reason when you roll the turn over (i.e. you're last to play) that you don't end turn on the next turn?Sometimes I like to allow time to think about what I'm doing and/or wait for replies and suggestions in my thread. But yeah, I'll try to finish turns as early as I can. I have been doing so recently. By the way, a few hours ago we had a huge earthquake here, and are continuing to get multiple big aftershocks. Apparently most of the city is lacking power, and though for now we're one of the lucky ones that have it, that could change at any moment. If I disappear for a few days then that's why.
We'll pause for you if that's the case, no questions asked.
We had a 7.2 here in San Diego last Easter and we were very lucky.
Agreed, natural disasters are a good reason to pause a no-pause game. I hope you're doing alright over there.

In a no-pause game why should anyone be accountable for absences? If I feel like running my civ on queued moves and AI governors for 10t that's my own decision. |
