So, the huge mass of animals was keeping the two of you from scouting ... a distance of probably around 11 tiles? Yowch.
Also, looks like that means you're not all alone on the NW corner of a continent.

Mackoti wants a T100 Nap. I'm thinking of asking him for T120 instead...
He's also at war with the clan. Since he doesn't have a spoiler thread i'll just post his email here for everyone to see:
Quote:Amelia,
Hi there, you are the second civ which founds me, after clan which righ now at war with me.
I supose they alredy told you alot of bad things about me, which are not true.I will try to inf you how the war happened: They had a wolf rider between my cities and i siad you want a Nap so you may scout freely and as a replay they sent well perhaps we came in peace or perhaps in war so i killed that wolfrider.
So i propose to you a Nap until turn 100 for begging and we can get another one after.
Please just dont pass our mails to Ravus or anyone else.
Regards,
Mackoti
Wow, no wonder the clan has been hinting that they don't want me working with the vampires.
With the Nap, and the fact that there is no good land between the two of us, i just plan to keep expanding the other direction. Might think of a buffer city though. Will post a screenshot next turn.

lol @ turn 100 NAP, that smells of "I think I'm going to get vampires around turn 100"

I'm paranoid and suspicious enough to believe that. Alternately, it's the Calabim trying to get away with teching in peace because they think they can hit you over the head harder once they've teched in peace than you can hit back if you get to tech in peace.
Amelia, do you think you can have something equivalently-ridiculous to vampires by around T100? (This would probably have to be Govannon and priests, which would pretty much be the mirror matchup...)
Say, how do graphs look?

He extended it till T120. Thankfully. And considers it signed.
Then he tells me that there are Giant Spiders around with a taste of bloodpets, and now maybe warriors. And that my warrior should be dead soon.
.. and adds in the following clauses.... nah nvm i'll just C+P the email here.
Quote:Thats execelent consider it signet.I jus want to add few things to nap
-dont share information with others parties one about another;
-dont permit other people units to lunch atacks from your teritory or mine;
-dont let others to use hawks from your teritory to scope mine or me to alow others.
if you fill that something else should be added just say.
Well if we end up working toghetr i will tell you that are 2 gigant spider(or whatever is the name) which have a great taste for bloopeds, so your warior can be a good meal, i supose that spider is at least combat 2.
Way to start off your diplo buddy...
So, back to business. What can i get by T120?
First off, i can definitely have my world spell. This reduces all their vampires to heavily promoted weaker champions (does that make sense).
I can also have Govannon, most likely. CoL is coming in 7 turns, which will boost my overextended economy (50% now, and getting lesser).
Well, i'll think of something =)

I say! His spelling makes me grind my teeth...
I'm trying to gauge your reaction to that, though. You seem unimpressed. I'm guessing it's partly because he figures that the restrictive form of a NAP is the standard form. You know, I'm starting to buy into the whole "don't sign NAPs other than a promise not to attack" idea that I've seen presented elsewhere.

What turn is it now?
It sounds like you want, if possible CoL (for economy), a religion, Arcane Lore (I think Govannon is there, and not at Sorcery?), and (optionally, I suppose...) Priesthood by then. Assuming you go for RoK because you've got it (already?) and their priest spell doesn't compete with Govannon empowerment as far as combat casting, how close are you? After you've figured that out, do you think you can or want to sneak in OO because you'll be able to build Hemah too?
Edit: looking back at your early plan... yeah, pretty much what I said... so, how far do you think you are from getting your game plan implemented?

The key thing is that i don't need to be top of the world. I just need to be strong enough to wipe out a stack of vampires, and take over said vampires.
Which was what i said about getting RoK, so someone is going to attack me before T120, but let us not talk about that, and focus on the main goal instead.
So, up till T120, i won't get attacked. Since i'm not the best player, and i'm not the most threatening player (amurites pfff), i won't be attacked. Heck, everyone wants to focus on the vampires.
Heck, the vampires and the clan ARE ALREADY AT WAR.
I'm not racing everyone to T120 where i can get a strong enough army to defeat everyone, i'm racing the vampires. Who are already crippled from the start due to a lack of magic, who are already at war with the clan who is quite angry over the loss of the wolf, and who without spells have champions with a -1 Str. Oh hey there Lanun.
More will come up after i play the turn, which due to my sickness will come later.

Ok, it's erm Turn 75. That gives me 45 turns to do the following:
1) Get CoL.
2) Get Arcane Lore, build Govannon AT THE MININUM.
3) Priesthood if possible.
The following are optional:
1) Bronze Working for Bronze Warriors.
2) Order for a better priest line.
The following will be quite nice:
1) Animal Husbandry for the Cow/Sheep.
2) Hunting for the Ivory / Deer.
3) Masonry for the Marble.
And finally, demographics.
Word of warning, they're not pretty.

Calabrim has more power than THE CLAN after a "FOR THE HORDE". Not pretty. Also notice the huge drop in power after the death of a wolf rider. (I dropped a bit due to sacrificing a warrior to kill a barb one).

I'm 2nd in food... good. I'm 3rd in GNP, also quite good.
I'm almost dead last in production. Erm, not too good. Why is that always a problem for me...
Will need to build more mines ASAP.

I'm higher than the Clan and Calabrim, in fact look at Calabrim being stagnant there. Quite good for now.

A picture speaks a thousand words of agony and pain. Maybe it's because i'm working more corn and farm tiles to build workers/settlers/grow though.

Look at the Calabrim go. My strongest stat and they beat me in it =(
All is not lost though as i'll be expending again soon, and getting another corn online. But i'll suffer a big drop later as i change to Aristocracy.
And that's all for today's post =)

Arcane lore by t120 is a very tough target imo, that tech and sorcery are really expensive.
