Actually, what Seven should be doing is doing that road trick 1 turn later, so instead of jumping from "2 to 4", he'll jump from "3 to 5" (according to current walking plan).

Edit: scratch that, the forest hill to the NE of Azza's capital will give him vision of tile "3". So yeah, 2 to 4 it is, doing it that way exposes his workers to least risk of harm.

Does anyone else think this dotmap is a weak? I would split the flood plains between three cities. Found BTS 1NW to pick up the silk and lighthouse lake tile, move Sim Golf one east to pick up the clams, and found a filler city 2E of the Pirates spot to pick up the wasted flood plains and clams.

I had relatively the same idea, but regardless, his current dotmap is pretty lousy.

It's lousy, but how else do you expect to wrest control of the floodplains from TT? 1NW is even harder to defend than current BTS. And if he settles Simgolf first, then TT settles BTS for himself.

I don't see how 1NW is significantly harder to defend. Pre-construction, they're both still 5 turns away from the capital with 1-movers. What ASM has going for him here is that Team Googly has no horse, so they most they could attack BTS with is a slow stack of axes. The ideal way for him to secure the city against attack would be to pop Buddhism or Judaism in there and get up to 40% cultural defenses.

Team Googly needs to get their shit together and get some military online before they get bum-rushed by their neighbors for their land.

Also, I'm amused that Azza didn't feel like informing everyone else that a good chunk of Seven's megastack are non-combatants.
