[SPOILERS] Thoth and Mardoc Pretend Piracy Pays as Pacal of Portugal

Precisely. tongue

I'm solidly 7th in food and that probably won't be getting fixed soon. But I have been solidly in 1st GNPwise for some time. Adding gold in 2t and gems in ~10-12 will help as well.

Once IW is in, I'd like to pick up the monk techs (Meditation, Priesthood and Monotheism) then hit Monarchy. I haven't run the numbers to see when I could complete Oracle, but if the other players leave it for too long, I'll have to see about a Feudalism Oracle sling.

t50/51: Gold mines on desert only take 5 worker turns, not the 6 I was planning on. Nice.

Sailing is in and IW is due in 6 turns. That may increase to 7 turns as I will probably swap from working the Gold to the Clams once the net is done. Maybe. Might wait for the Pier.

Demos.....great GNP. Sucktastic everything else:

I need horses improved and some chariots out scouting. And I need more improved tiles. Also more pop and more settlers.

Davros has 32/60 hammers into a Worker. I'll have the copper mined on t54 and another cottage available on t53. Warrior finishes eot 52. I think I'm going to put a turn into an archer after the warrior and let Davros grow to size 7. Lavender takes the sheep t52, so I still need one more improved tile.....t55 I can have a grass hill mined in addition to the copper mine and cottage. I'll have two workers who can either move towards the gems and start roading/getting into position to chop the jungle/mine the gems t57 or who can start in on pasturing/roading the horses. Gotta thinks about that one.

t52: met qbrick. They've been whipping up a storm these last two turns. I count 4 single pop whips.

I 1 pop whipped out worker #5 from Davros this turn. I'll recover to size 6 on warrior/archer and then get another settler out.
Lavender has finally grown to size 2 and is growing on Pier/Archer/Chariot before a settler. Prolly get another worker out before the settler.

Played 53/54 back to back.

Since this would have involved double moving both QBrick and CH (whom I met t53) I elected to simply not move Hodor on t54 so I don't have to deal with the hassle of logging back in separately just to move one unit. (I moved Hodor to the silver hill he's standing on during t53).

Two more contacts to go. 3 more turns on IW. I've finished up the Copper mine (now being worked in Davros) and the Net for Exterminate (which I'm not working until t55 or 56 in order to complete IW eot 56).

Production now looking less sucktastic. But Food still awful.

I offered CH a map trade, but not QBrick.

55 played quickly on my way out the door to work so no piccy

CH accepted the map trade. He's close-ish to my East. Need to do some thinking about border city locations.

Qbrick offered a map trade which I declined.

Another mine finished and horse pasture started. Workers are in position to clear jungle/mine gems. Road done t57, clearing and mining start on t58.
Hammer output is now decent and I'm tied for bottom in food production jive

Oh. And someone (Pindicator) finished up Stonehenge eot 54.

Wow, three sources this close? That'll boost our early cities up a bunch.

Yeah. I'm aiming to settle the next two cities to the east and south east then grab some land westwards.

I've played t58 and updated the dotmap but I forgot to grab screenies. frown

Given our current turnpace I'll be playing t59/60 when I get home from work tonight. jive I'm off tomorrow and Tuesday so I'll aim to get some proper overview and planning posted. smile

t59:

Finished my first forest preserve, stopped working the gold in favour of the Piered and Netted Clam. I'll have the Gems online on t61. There is a barb warrior threatening the two workers on the jungle. There is a slightly wounded Shock Archer covering the workers (showing 95% odds on the attack so 99+% odds on defence)

Next city will be settled t65. Late, but it's a doozy. Plains hill city tile, Wet wheat in the inner ring, pigs and deer 2nd ring plus PH iron already in my borders. and 8 forests.

City 5 will go to seal off my southern flank. PH city site, inner ring fish (already netted), outer ring wheat, hills and it only needs 1 fort to act as a canal.

Then 6 and 7 go west, 8 and 9 north. then fill in 4 more plus whatever else I can grab.

Holy shit that's a lot.
