RPB3 SPOILERS Bismarck of India (regoarrarr, darrelljs, sooooo, sunrise089)

Just a note that I'm away for the long weekend. I won't be back until Monday evening. Good luck all!

Okay, here is what I am thinking for city/worker actions next turn sunrise. We only have 8 cities but we have 3 Settlers (2 built, one completing next turn).

LN - Swap to Fast Worker next turn after we grow.
HH - Settler -> Knight.
KT -Catapult (due to complete next turn). We have 8H in a Barracks but I don't see this city building any more units, so I agree with sooooo to just let the overflow complete a Catapult. Swap to a Market the following turn.
BB - Knight
MB - Fast Worker
DF - I snuck a Stables in here before the Knight finished. Takes 3 turns.
TC - Macemen, then Fast Worker next turn when we grow onto the Copper. I stole the Rice from Lady's Night, which still also grows next turn.
C - Forge.

Ok, I'm now leaning towards NOT taking out the Krill chariot.

Krill has offered to not kill our warrior down his way and not attack our worker at The Dance Floor. Both those promises don't do us much good, but my real worry is that if he starts retaliating he may try to take out Ottoman units on their side. I don't know if there is any real possibility for damage, but I don't think keeping that WC off his sentry hill is THAT vital.

Three hours left, do you guys agree?

@Lurkers - I just want to go on record as saying, whether Karma is giving us what we deserve for some reason or not, we are either the victim of treachery most foul or some pretty bad luck.

First Krill mismoved his unit to the perfect tile to check out whether we had our stack positioned to move on his new city. Then (after a week+ of radio silence) we send our Ottoman plan into the wild. Ottomans apparently post about it in their thread, and possibly IM it or email it around. That same turn Krill moves the one unit that could spot our stack, spots it, and DOWs.

I have no idea if this is simple bad luck, a double agent in CUDDLE, and lurker who tipped someone off, or even a PAT player cheating and reading these threads, but even if I'm reacting unfairly to what is merely a coincidence, it's a pretty good reason to avoid 1) posting sensitive info, and 2) getting in these large alliances.

If there is a RBP4, it will definitely be no tech trading again wink

I think this can be said without spoiler, just to perhaps put your mind at ease. Krill has not mentioned the mismove in detail in his thread. He twice referred in passing to "the misclicked chariot". And Krill doesn't strike me as the type to actually cheat. So IMO AFAICT, his claim is on the level there.

No, he doesn't really strike me that way either T-Hawk. But I can't help think there is some particular reason why he took the very proactive step of DOW'ing just to scout, right when he was discussing the misclicked chariot. This is all just me thinking outloud, but assuming no cheater and maybe no full-on double agent, here's what I think is possible: Someone in CUDDLE tells someone in PAT that India is going to attack with HAs (evidence - Krill starts taunting us about of HA stack, and he arranges his sentries and, we think, his tech/production plans around warding off 2-movers). Krill notices some Indian activity on his border, including roads being built. Krill then misclicks a unit, and that unit reveals that we don't have any real army behind our roads. Maybe he's more curious now where India's units are, and maybe he pings someone in CUDDLE for info. Maybe they tell him that they don't know, but they did see some fast workers moving into Ottoman land.

Or of course maybe I just said something that tipped him off wink

So wait...the mis-clicked unit was the one that "scouted" Ottoman's lands? Woudl it have been in a position to Scout based on the original movement?

Is there any agreement not move a unit next to your/ottoman's borders? Why can't be a mis-click and legal?

Lurkers are not as active as pitboss 2. I am pretty sure it is not lurkers. If some players are reading these threads, then too bad. May be it's is time to think about adding some security around these threads. If there is a double/triple agent, then it is fair game....

I am curious around Krill's moves, but he doesn't update his thread.

Yeah, it could of course all be a coincidence. I'm human though, so I'll still try to find patterns in noise.

EDIT: Of course a double/triple agent is fair game. Heck, a cheating thread reader is fair game in as much that I'm not going to start pushing for locked forums.

@Darrell - No, the misclicked unit was Krill's war chariot south of The Dance Floor. It moved adjacent to our lands instead of one tile further south, and was therefore able to see our units in and in front of The Dance Floor. Krill also misclicked a unit on the Ottoman side, we don't know much about that one. Then, hours later, Krill decided to proactively DOW in order to scout Ottoman lands.
